This isn't the DLC they've been hyping up. This is just something extra they've put out before the big one comes along.

Agreed.  Didn't think they would do a major story DLC this soon after releasing ME2 for the PS3.  I think they will let that run a while and fix the problem with the save games and any other bugs that come up first before doing a storyline DLC for all 3 systems..

It looks good. I've never been much of one for appearance packs, but maybe when I find out how many points I'll have left after the next ME2 DLC and the inevitable non-included Day 1 DLC for DA2. ;-)

I don't agree with the notion that the visors/HUDs on the characters look ugly. I think they look plain and unremarkable. However, I love the idea behind them, makes the squad feel more special ops. And considering the squad was pretty much already supposed to be special ops, that enhances the feeling.

Her armor is the same as Shepard's Cerberus Assault Armor, just entirely black with added stripes and the Cerberus logo having switched sides and no helmet (and larger breasts, probably). That "cod piece" is on Shepard's version of the armor too, regardless of gender.

Don't wanna sound ungrateful, but with Miranda's new armor her breathing mask will look even more stupid, I think. Are the squadmates allergic against helmets? Claustrophobia?

I like the new designs, especially Miranda's. I have nothing against figure-hugging catsuits, but she looks better in armour, IMO. Also, Tali really needed a new armour, since both her original suits in the game are quite lacklustre. Grunt's armours were fine the way they were, but the new one looks snazzy, too.

Especially Miranda armor looks really good, Tali's is nice also.

Would be real nice if you could set appearances of teammates for combat / non combat.

As in Clothes for normandy / clothes for field missions.

I'm glad to see that most of you like what you see!

As Chris mentioned briefly in the OP, the inspiration for this pack really came from the community. ME2 for 360 and PC is over a year old, and many of you folks are so committed and dedicated on these forums, that we wanted you to be a part of this DLC.

Thanks dude Image IPB

In addition, nobody wants to take a mass accelerator slug hit to the vagina.

If someone doesn't quote this and put it in their signature, I will be a sad Prince.

You mean Miranda's very own "Great Rift"?

I only got one thing to ask:

How is Miranda gonna strip off all that armor in the engine room? She may as well be wearing a chastity belt and forgot where she put the key.

Miranda is always wearing the white jumpsuit when she undresses.

She was my Shep's LI in my canon playthrough, and was wearing the black 'loyalty' outfit when the scene triggered. The beginning of the scene in the CIC started with her in the black suit, but when the scene switched to the engine room she was in the white suit. I assume a similar thing will happen with the new armor. If she's dressed in the new armor she'll be wearing that when she tells Shep to meet her in the engine room, but when the scene changes she'll be in her default white jumpsuit.

Eh, I would rather have alternative outfits for Zaeed and Kasumi whose options are really boring.

Day one ... and I am not even playing ME2 these days.

My only issue is Grunts arms being unarmoured, but it was always like this.

Then again their default armours are among the best.

I like Miranda and Grunt's outfits, not sure about Tali's though. She looks weird without her traditional blue.

*looks at his N7 colouring design for Jack (avatar) and then at Miri's armor*

Dammit! Will there be a 'new' version of the Cerberus Armor coming out? To quote Bruce Wayne...

"Does it come in black?"

Come on, I want Shep and Miri in matching his and hers Cerberus armor :D

I like Miri's but not for the reasons some of the people on these boards are saying, because I didn't mind her fighting in the regular outfit. Although I imagine it'll make the scene with Captain Enyala a bit stupid seeing as I imagine wearing that outfit won't change the dialogue. Just like how in DA:O if you have Morrigan wearing anything other than her normal outfit she still says that line in Arl Eamon's estate about how she is getting annoyed with the comments made about her clothing.

Also one thing I've always found a bit comical and someone else mentioned it earlier is how even when you had her 'loyalty outfit' on, it shows her wearing that when she comes to talk to Shep about clearing the engine room and yet when get down there she is wearing the white version. So she decides to get in the elevator, strip off and change outfits eh? :P

Regarding Tali and Grunt's outfits, Tali's to me doesn't make sense and to some extent neither does her loyalty outfit, because where would she change on the Normandy? Grunt's looks a bit silly with the lenses over his eyes, other than that it looks ok apart, I know we've had the CSI 'shades' joke going for a while (on the boards) and whilst I don't mind Thane's, Jack's shades look stupid as well.

"That's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around" ;)

My guess is it will come in the Summer - probably around July, which will probably give about 6 months until ME3. I'm willing to bet we'll see AAP3 and maybe anther Firepower pack before it, or at the very least similar 'small' DLC.
