Holy Crap, I just saw this, maybe someone beat me to the punch, but Tali's has a visor inside her helmet! You can even see it lol I thought the description was just making that up.

That Tali's is "simply" retextured doesn't really bother me. How much variation can you give an environmental suit, really?

Someone With Mass wrote...

I don't think they can change Tali's suit that much without making her not looking like a quarian should.

Many posters have suggested ways in which Tali's armor could be physically changed while still maintaining a "quarian" look. That her Alt Appearance is nothing more than a retexture is a bit disappointing, and I think I'll stick with her default outfit.

On the assumption that that was a serious question - it's part of her visor. it's a little clearer if you view the image full size.

Nope. Are you kidding? They must do bulky heavy armor for females (now even miranda has football player legs).
Otherwise the character is not good for combat, is not realistic.. right..
in a game where you fight sentient-machines in space and romance aliens I need the "realism" armor.

Its not realism but a god damn common sense. *facepalm* And Miris new armor is no way heavy looking, not by long shot.

"Good sense is, of all things among men, the most equally distributed; for every one thinks himself so abundantly provided with it, that those even who are the most difficult to satisfy in everything else, do not usually desire a larger measure of this quality than they already possess."
Cartesius

Said that, yet I dont like football players' legs and I prefer the catsuit, even more I prefer the look of the Light and Medium armor we had in ME1, that look reached a very good compromise between aesthetic quality and sci-fi context.

Other than that, all I can say is: tastes differ.
Period.

Hey, some of those wide recievers have super skinny legs!

But yeah, part of Mass Effect's charm is bound up in making the whole thing plausible for heaven's sake. Miranda's catsuit in space? Not very plausible.

That's a visor? I thought that was a reflection of her gun.

Yep. That is an actual visor. Under her helmet.

Tali was the very LAST person who could use a visor, and they still gave her one. lol

I fully expect everyone to have one at this point.

I love Miranda's new armor!

But please allow us to remove headgear, a la "helmet toggle".

Preferably, implement a code to to toggle outfit "eyewear" without affecting the helmet (yes, I'd like a seperate toggle for that too, but that's not going to happen!).

I don't really want that visor thing in the way of her beautiful eyes. ;-D

Grunt's headgear looks so ridiculous I won't use that armor set at all!

Will Captain Enyala's dialogue about her outfit on her loyalty mission make any sense to Miranda if she wears that?

In all seriousness this is a must buy for me and very welcome.

Its still a light armor, so it can still make sense. She's still very lithe and cat-like.

The Alternate Appearance Pack 2 gives new outfits to Miranda, Grunt, and Tali. These are 3 outfits our Mass Effect community requested and

How do you make Grunt feel at home? You can start by encasing him in 100 kilos of bullet-resistant plating! This krogan-built ensemble sends a message, but just what it says, we can’t repeat in polite company.

Tali’s envirosuit gets an upgrade, armoring her delicate torso and projecting a heads-up-display on the inside of her visor. Being hermetically sealed from all contamination has never looked so good!

Miranda shows her colors with the “do not touch” palette of Cerberus armor. Say goodbye to catsuits and hello to composite ceramics in bad-girl black!

Alternate Appearance Pack 2 – Because it’s time to put the “war” back in “wardrobe.

Available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on Tuesday February 8.

Awesome new costumes I was wondering when the next pack would release. Now lets hope they don't take so long to bring out the 3rd and 4th. *if they're giving every character an alt

Nice. I didn't think they would release any more of these.

I like Miranda's cat suit better though. She's not the only one whose gear is impractical. Look at Samara, and Jack fights in her bra.

When I read Chris's discription of Tali's new outfit I was like "Where's the visor". I mean I was expecting to see the visor over her helmet not under it.

I do think its a bit concerning that the community here so loudly, clearly and vocally objected to glasses or face obstructions and yet they are still in AA2.

I know some other people said they like glasses, so its not for everyone, but it seems like the overwhelming majority of posts regarding the issue of glasses/visors/face obstructions was against them.

please bioware, why do you think we want face obstructions in a cinematic game? can you imagine watching any cinematic classic like the godfather with marlon brando wearing some visor or sunglasses?

no, people's faces are crucial to the cinematic experience. please, we want body armor, not facial obstructions.

That would've been even weirder. To be honest, I don't think she needed the visor at all. I'll overlook it.

Well, it could be that in her latest outfit, holographic projectors have been installed in the glass of her helmet, which is an awesome idea.

Looks great either way, imo.

If that's the case, it'd be nice if it wasn't just over one eye. Or where one eye would be.

Also, its very vague. Probably should've stuck out more.
