I looked at the appearance packs and didn't think much of them.  It's odd that BIOWARE offered entire missions for free, but charged for alternate clothing.  I would think they'd give the appearance packs for free and charge for the mission based DLC.

Now on THAT note, I would have paid for "out of this world" appearance packs.  WHO CARES about alternate futuristic clothing?  Can you imagine Jack sporting rose-colored John Lennon glasses, a tube top and bell-bottomed jeans?  Garrus with a leather vest over a paisley shirt and a fro?  How awesome would that be?  Or Grunt as a pimp?  Mod-Squad Mass Effect Appearance Packs!  I would pay good money for that!  Who's with me?  Tell me I'm crazy!

Except we've had about two or three mission-based packs for free (They're not 'free', though, as the Cerberus Network does technically cost money), and another three as paid for.

The clothing packs are superfluous. They have no impact on the game, and they appeal to a small number of players. That's why they cost money. Mission packs do have an impact, and perhaps will with Mass Effect 3, so they're more appealing and can afford to give some away and charge for others. Nothing that comes with the CN has no impact on the game; It all does something. That's not the case with the 'paid-for' DLC releases, such as the AAP ones, because they have no impact.

That and free mission packs makes much better marketing than free decent clothing for Jack.

*crosses fingers* Still holding out hope that the last 6 get an alternate. after Arrival.
Mordin-Old STG armor...but in black so he fits with the rest of the crew.
Jacob-Something like Miranda's new one
Samara-A black Asari-commando armor
Legion- Repaired with a darker paint tone
Zaeed- Black armor
Kasumi- Armored up (maybe more like Tali... but somehow unique so I don't cry clone)  something samurai or ninja looking would be sick! even a sword like the one in morinth's apartment would look sweet...even if she can't use it in combat!

Yes, I am wondering about the timing of this.

It has been said that Arrival is the last ME2 DLC (curls into fetal position in the corner).

So what do we do with the next AAPs?

Here you go guys, some new outfits, now let's go to the Darkstar lounge and show them off.

Not that it matters to me, I'll buy them anyway.

Especially if they finally fix that hole in Legion's chest.
Damn thing has been an eyesore throughout my entire game!!!!!


It would have been better to release the remaining AAPs before Arrival, so we have somewhere to use them other then a complete replaying of the game!

It's nice to see Miranda in sensible gear as while her 'uniform' (which isn't nearly as bad as people keep saying) is fine to wander round in it's hardly appropriate for a warzone; no matter how many shield generators are in place. Frankly one thing I disliked about ME2 the most was the almost complete ditching of armour, while not particulary striking the hardsuits were 'realistic'.

I'm not sure if wanting another AAP is viable now that Arrival has come out. Rather than wanting another costume/re-skin for your favourite characters in ME2 why not just wait and see what they have in store for those characters in ME3.

They could release small piece of content such as AAP to accompany Platinum Hits / Ultimate Edition re-release.
