I'm not sure if wanting another AAP is viable now that Arrival has come out. Rather than wanting another costume/re-skin for your favourite characters in ME2 why not just wait and see what they have in store for those characters in ME3.

They could release small piece of content such as AAP to accompany Platinum Hits / Ultimate Edition re-release.

Here's hoping!   I'd still love to see the all-inclusive package of pre-order items too.  PS3 users were able to get them... I'm willing to pay for pre-order items and alternate appearance packs Bioware!!!!  keep em coming!

I did too. Though I actually like all of the ones in this pack. (That said, shades notwithstanding, I liked all of the ones in AAP1 too).

I'm hoping they release an AAP3, and possibly a Firepower Pack 2. I mean, they could use it to test out new weapons for ME3 in ME2 ;).

Either Sony being an @ss in this or Bioware don't really care about Asia.My money is on the first though.

Mass Effect Genisis... the PS3 comic was just released to the XBox marketplace. So.., maybe we can still hold out hope for the recon packs and collector armor that the PS3 users got (they were also preorder bonuses) and I'm still holding out hope for AAP 3 and 4. i've lost hope in more Hammerhead missions though since Arrival was said to be the last:(

Not sure if i'll buy this, although admittedly it is nice to see Miranda getting some more sensible gear as a skintight white and black catsuit (with high heels!!!) is hardly appropriate for the field. All I can say is Bulk pack please, rather having to pay for each individually especially when the inevitable 3rd pack arrives.

p.s. I hope her alternative apearance carries through to ME3.

Everything is screwed up (once again). Can't log into Origin, can't retrieve DLC, can't confirm password, get booted out every single time, even though I've reset my password 17 times to different things, nothing works. Wonderful.

Think I fixed it now:  had to do with my password containing "special characters" is all I can think. My passwords have always had special characters. Tried everything I could think of, then I got rid of the special characters, and it works fine now, as far as I can tell.  I think it was Gorath Alpha or Bogsnot1 that suggested I try that for something else.  Works for getting into the Cerberus Network and Origin's DLC center.  (I haven't seen anywhere in game or here that says you can't use special characters...maybe that needs to be added somewhere...noticeable. Would have saved me an hour or two.)

Nope, extremely unlikely it'll happen.

Hmm, according to the UK and US marketplace, the AAPs were some of the worst selling DLCs, no wonder they are not rushing to release another one.
Makes me wonder how much time and money does it take to release a piece of DLC such as AAP. BioWare reused some existing models in AAP2 and I would expect them to do the same in AAP3.

I got them just because Garrus's looks sorta cool, and I wanted Jack to have an outfit that covers more than just her nipples. It would be cool to have an AAP option for every character, but we will just have to see i guess.

Because you bought it for xbox, not PC. If you want it for PC, you have to buy it separately.

Yes, that's because you need to BUY it for PC.

If you buy it for xbox, it is ONLY for xbox. If you buy it for PC, it is ONLY for PC. If you want it for both, you have to buy it twice.

I really, really want some proper armour for Jacob and Samara, and an outfit alternative for Legion without the hole. I'm hoping they might still do a third pack, but it's looking more and more unlikely.

Why
are the DLC for Mass Effect 2 so expensive? Just to get all the DLC
missions and Master Thief, $40  won't cover it. I added them up
and even after buying 3200 points ($40) you are still something like 80
points short. This seems like a scam for one thing...making you buy a
lot of extra points that you can't or won't be able to use. I might not
be as bothered about that if it wasn't for how expensive the points
are. Heck, I only paid like $20 for the game itself. Not going to pay
$40 for some extra downloadable content.  While it may be "worth it" to some people, entertainment dollars are in short supply for many of us these days.
And worse, there is not bonus for buying more.  And no bonus it seems, for buying content for an older version of the game.  ME3 is now out.  You would think that ME2 stuff, like the game itslef, would start being reduced in price.  That's usually the procedure for products that are no longer the cutting edge.

It just seems very counter intuitive to pay over $40 bucks for some stuff to add to a game I bought for $20 and the Navy Exchange.

It's how they ensure the game stays profitable long after release. I don't have a problem with that per se...

What I do have a problem with is the fact that you have to buy points in completely arbitrary denominations of "points", when the pieces of DLC in question never add up to the denominations of our points balance.

You always end up with points left over, and I'm sure the psychology of most users is that if they have outstanding points they'll want to use them.

I'm also annoyed that big fans of the series can't just pay for a "Complete" DLC pack or a "Weapons" "Story" or "Appearance" pack. Like I wanted the hammerhead, shadowbroker, kasumi, arrival and overlord missions, but had no interest in the alternate appearance packs or weapon packs.

As it was I had to spend almost as much as I had on the game (I bought it new) to purchase each of these packs seperately.

BioWare / EA! I don't MIND paying for DLC!

I DO mind being ripped off through the use of cynical points initiatives and lack of flexible buying options.

I ALSO mind that buying all the DLC seperate almost doubles the price of the game I bought new.
