Sorry if this was posted before but I couldn't find a topic on this. I was wondering if the terminus armor will be available to people who weren't able to preorder at gamestop. I noticed that ps3 users were able to get this content for free (which is awesome) but was hopeing 360 users (me included) would eventually be able to download it. I for one would lay down some microsoft points for it considering it was the main bonus content I wanted. I still have my collectors edition armor code I never used that I would be willing to trade for a terminus code but I really doubt anyone would have an unused code this far into the games lifespan. Anyways, here's hoping they release it to the rest of us.

I doubt it. It was a preorder exclusive.

Don't see why not. The Inferno armor was a preorder item and that was eventually released.

It's been in threads before but if the topic keeps coming up, perhaps the PC/360 users who came in late will still have a chance to get it.

I know there are only 4 items I do not have for ME2. Terminous Armor and Blackstorm are 2 of them. Collector Armor and Rifle are the other 2. I still want them, but unless any of them become DLC I'm out of luck. Right now places like ebay have people selling these as much as 50-60 dollars because they knew these were promotional items and would be limited/exclusive and do not care about the items for themself.   It's rediculous. <_<

It would be much better if DLC was not exclusive or promotional and available to all platforms as paid DLC.

EDIT - I suppose an Ultimate Edition after the last DLC is released with all DLC, promotional and exclusive on it would be a win for later.  But them some would end up buying most of what they already have all over again and that seems like a waste.  Unless online activation was removed.

I agree, it would be better if it wasnt exclusive. The ultimate edition would be cool, but like you said, it would be a pain to have to rebuy content we already own to get ahold of content we want.

Ahh thats a good point, I never thought of it like that. I always thought they meant payed dlc only for the ps3. I guess it makes sense giving ps3 owners a chance to get the armor for free like we had a chance during the preoder. Unfortunately there was no gamestop close to me when this game came out.

Edit: Though it doesn't say anything about being DLC on other platforms.

I wonder... Would it be possible to get an official statement or any info of some sort regarding the terminus armor beind dlc, whether it be only for ps3 or all systems?

If you have any codes that you dont need set up a topic on it and offer your code in return for the terminus armor, I did that yesterday I had an extra code for Ser Isaac of Clarke armor from Dead Space 2 and I traded it for the terminus armor and blackstorm gun (I actually only wanted the Blackstorm gun, I didnt realise that you get Terminus armor with it) So maybe you should try that if you have any codes.

there is a difference between a pre-order bonus and a pre-order exclusive. gamestop has partial ownership of the terminus gear

This. PS3 players are not your main fanbases... Thus, Xbox and PC players, made thou popular and GOTY. don't spit on us.

Nope it wont be. Gamestop has a tendency to make sure that "gamestop exclusives" ONLY come from gamestop. That being said, if you want their exclusive item in the future, make sure to get there ASAP. Gamestop will not hold onto "your" code even though we said you get one.

I'm hoping that's the case too. If Feb 23 rolls around and Terminus armor is available for DL, I'll be instantly restarting my renegade vanguard playthrough... after I'm done falling out of my chair from the joyfest.

Well I'm not too sure about the "Gamestop exclusive" nature of it, because it was a pre-order exclusive here in Australia at both Game and EB Games.

So I'm bumping this because I can no longer access the other thread where I was attempting to discuss this issue. I'm just a little miffed that they're not seeing the opportunity to make a few dollars off of us non-preorder PC/Xbox customers who are willing to pay for the content.

I'm just an enthusiast who really would like to try out the Blackstorm on one of my last playthroughs of ME2 before ME 3 drops.

Please if you all even care about your fanbase, please give us faithful customers a chance to purchase the equipment as DLC. I've bought everything for Mass Effect 1 and 2 and am willing to cough out some more money for the rest of the DLC that I don't have.

EDIT: Wow I just looked on ebay and some knuckleheads have the terminus set up for $67.99... that could be money in your pocket EA.

...Of course only some retard who should be taken out in the street and shot would actually pay $67.99 for it but still...

just sayin'.

While I understand the want to collect all the armor, i'm obsessive compulsive when it comes to this sort of thing too, but honestly the armor isn't all that great.

Its stats are meh, especially when compared to the custom, modular armor you can make.

I just read Terminus armor as Terminator armor... The thought of Shepard punching through a wall with a power fist and crushing somebody was amusing to me.

But yeah, they should release this for Xbox and PC players.

I saw that on eBay too, and if by the time ME3 released, and still no words of an ultimate edition with all DLCs or individual dlc for collector and terminus armors, I might just buy that for $67.99.

Not excited about and armour DLC really ... all this "you can't removed the helmet" thingy mad them worthless in my eyes. I think I have worn a DLC armour until I came to Illium (or was it Omega were I had a drink) in my very very first ME2 and then I never looked back at and DLC armour. The only DLC armour worthwhile considering is the multi-part armour (released with some weapons) and that is more geared for a vanguard.

IN regards to helmets I ever only have worn the eye piece for increased head shot damage ... or non at all.

I never use the armour because of the helmet issue, but the Blackstorm is pretty fun :-)
