We know so far about:
-Charging a weapon
-Reloading
But I don't know for sure about whether it ends if you shoot or not. I am sure someone knows so here the open question.
Thank you

As far as I can recall It does not end prematurely when you hack or bypass, nor does it end prematurely if open doors or containers

What i want to know though is how does the damage bonus get applied. Does it apply only to the first shot fired or does it apply to all shots until he uncloak has taken affect? Since my SMG always seemed more powerful as i uncloaked while using it then normally...

It also ends shortly after when you start firing.
Thanks, I wasn't sure because sometimes it seemed I could place a whole SMG clip into the enemy before the effect wearing off.
Does anyone knows specific data, like how long after a shot the power wore off (no more damage boost is the primary concern).
Asking this because I am playing with the thought of an CQC Infiltrator with Viper and Eviscerator, so I'd like to know how many shots I could let go before the boni cease to exist. If I can get about three to four well aimed shots with the Viper out, it would be worth a try, if not, I'd stay with the Widow and the Precision Strike Method.

Note that charging a weapon(means pressing the shoot button) will have the same effect as shooting a normal weapon.
However, if you press to charge a weapon, then enter cloak, the game won't register you pressing the "shoot" so it won't de-cloak you. Even if you release the charged shot. it still don't de-cloak you as you don't "press" the shoot button after cloaking

You should enter de-cloak animation once you press the "shoot" button when you in cloak-mode. Just that you sometimes can't see it clearly.

That is already clear. The question is do any boni wear off in the same instance or do you get (particularily) the Damage Boost for as long as the visual effects of de-cloaking are present?
Especially in regards to firing a volley of the Viper Rifle. Does only the first shot get the bonus damage or might get the consequive shots the bonus aswell as long as they are fired in the specific timeframe?
That is the question for an answer I am longing.

From what I have noticed, yes, it does apply the bonus damage while you are clocked. I've noticed it with the Mattock(if you are fast the whole clip to break it) and GPS(2 shots, first one charged or not), dunno about viper and how many shots are needed to break the cloak.

Those are essentially the question I want an answer for. Maybe someone did already all this stuff, if not then I have to wait a bit and find out myself.

I haven't conciously counted, but it seems to be in the ballpark of 3 seconds or so. Not too significant with slow shooting weapons, but pretty good with regards to smgs.Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...
Anyone ever counted said timeperiod? Is it affected by the Infiltrators time diletation when zoomed in?

If that is so, it might be just enough to line up two aimed shots with the Viper (on the same target at least) and maybe even another quickly followed body mass shot, all of them with the Damage Boost. I'll test it a bit out if I come to make my next Infiltrator, because if that really works, I am going to be a very, very nasty cloaked Shotgun to the face baby

Also if you're using the Viper I believe I read from a Tony Gunslinger forum that if you wait for the time dilation to end and don't shoot you can pull off around 5 shots that get the cloak bonus damage. I tried it myself and you'll decimate just about any enemey if you abuse this tactic. You can also zoom in pull off your 3 slow mo shots cloak while in the scope and rapidly fire off the rest of your magazine. Punishment is served

Well from what I know the cloak will also wear off if you are sprinting and run into an enemey. Trust me take that advice to heart if you're cqc.

That means you should be able to cloak and then hack the computer at the end of the Horizon mission. I wonder if the Scions disappear so I can skip that fight.
