"Big Trouble in Little China" has been mentioned several times already. I want to pick a different movie than last time I participated in a thread like this.

Let's see... I'll go with "Mean Guns" this time. Pretty cheesy Albert Pyun flick with lots of needless, yet mysteriously bloodless killing. Christopher Lambert's character was also laughably histrionic throughout. Every cheesy gun fight should be set to dodgy mambo.

The ending to "Death Proof" was epic. In my opinion it was much better than "Planet Terror".

Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness, They Call Me Bruce...anything with Mr. Campbell in it really...

And no one has mentioned Rocky Horror Picture Show yet? Best experienced in a movie theater with a ton of people participating!

You may also be interested in a film called One Eyed Monster, I haven't seen it myself yet but my mate informs me its about Ron Jeremy's member getting loose and going on a murder spree. If you have Sky they show it on the Horror Channel fairly regularly I'm told. Its another of those things you must see before you die.

That sounds really rather disturbing.  That said, I'd probably watch it if I saw it was on just to see how naff it is, but I fear I may never recover from the anticipated trauma.

The Room

I'm surprised it took until page 3 for this gem to be mentioned, since it's definitely an unforgettable experience

I'm going to throw in the Star Wars Holiday special, but only if it's seen with friends with a sense of humor who are down with providing their own MST3K track live (although they HAVE made a track to go along with the movie, but that costs money).  If you meet those conditions, the movie is hysterical! Especially since (I'm pretty sure) all copies of the movie include the commercials which were aired along with it. The Killer Shrews, AVP: Requiem, Piranha 3D, My Bloody Valentine 3D, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, Troll II, Terror in the Haunted House (the first use of PSYCHORAMA!)…Um, I should probably stop listing. This might be a guilty pleasure of mine, just a tad?

I’m separating out The Beastmaster and Krull  from my list because those are movies near and dear to my childhood which I’ll never be able to admit are actually bad, even to myself ;) I mean, Krull has LIAM NEESON!

Otherwise, I have to agree with 'anything from Troma' but also throw in 'anything from the SyFy channel'.  Their original movies are always special and, with the name change, it's somehow even more hysterical.

Bad movie... Well I dunno if it's bad. But I do know it's a B rated movie. Evil Dead 1, 2 and Army of Darkness... I'm a closet Bruce Campbell fan.

The same could be said of all Albert Pyun and Christopher Lambert movies.Image IPB

They've all been said already, but:

-Book of Eli (I can't believe people thought that was bad)

-Starship Troopers (had two directors, and you can tell the differences, so thats probably why it was so bad)

-The Event Horizon (I can see why most people don't like it)

I tend to have a habit of picking out every little flaw at first sight when watching a movie... Still, I like quite a few movies. I wouldn't really know what people think is really bad though... Is Book of Eli considered bad? I liked that. Is Clash of the Titans considered bad? I thought it was fine. etc.

Hmm, I'm tryin' to figure out what the criteria is for a 'bad movie'.   Book of Eli was awesome.  Gary Oldman, Denzel, Ray Stevenson... what more can you ask for?  Even Mila Kunis was tolerable for once.

Anyway, I think mine fits here.  Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis.  Anything with Christopher Walken is gonna be entertaining.
