1 to 10, how excited are you for Dragon Age II?

It's a Bioware game set in Dragon Age. Has all the elements I loved from DA:O, and none of the aspects that are missing (like lack of race options and origins) are a game-breaker for me or even all that important.
The more I hear about new features, companions and the story itself, the more excited I am. March can't come soon enough.

-you can't initiate a convo with your party outside their home, this is probably gonna bother me a great deal, especially if there are gonna be endless battles like in the deep roads
-dlc right in the beginning, for the love of...
-too little info = bad marketing

I love Bioware games but I'm really looking forward to this to get me out of my boredom and make way for Mass Effect 3
I don't get really excited till around 2 days before it comes out
And I'm looking forward more to Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim...sadly both are 1(+) year away

Knocked a point off for lack of character creator in the demo, but that's a small thing so my excitement's still very high!

4/10, I'm terrified of the battle system, everyone outside of these forums thinks it is going to be a train wreck.
But we'll see I guess.
Edit: Aka I'm renting it.
This for the PS3 like I did for DA:O, I may once again get the PC version of DA2 if Bioware updates the toolset it will be the only way to fix all of the bugs and there WILL be bugs and glitches.
I'm also waiting for the Witcher 2 so I might not even touch DA2 until after I buy and finish off that game.

5/10 for many reasons I'm bored to analyze in depth. I wanted to be a 10/10 because Origins was one of my favorite RPGs, but DA II seems to be a different kind of RPG in many ways. I also fear that because of the short development DA II had, it's going to be a bug-fest. I'll wait for reviews, then I'll decide what to do.
You do know they were working on the game several months before Dragon Age Origins was ever released.

Little party character inventory customization and the new UI are mostly responsible for the -3.

Yeah, I know some details about it. Although I think that they were working the concept of DA II in a theoretical level before the release of Origins (such as the plot, main hero, art direction and stuff like that) and not the game itself. I don't eat it that they were truly working DA II before the release of DA:O. First of all, you have to see if your product is successful saleswise to make a sequel. Also, you have to gather tons of feedback to build a different kind of a RPG such as DA II, which is supposed to fix Origins negative parts. You know, all the above require some months after the release of DA:O. DA:O was a 7 years old product which the first years were dedicated to build a unique graphics engine and a unique world setting (lore). Still it had bugs and needed 4 patches after its release to fix some things and not all of them. Dragon Age Awakening wasn't a long project to create, so the result was to have a game full of bugs and glitches with a not so well developed story and characters. The word rushed is the best to describe it. Do you get my point? I hope that Bioware is going to prove my concerns about DA II wrong . We'll see.

After hearing about alot of small changes about it being a brand new story, the protagonist would be voiced, the main character would have to be human, weapon restrictions to classes, fewer class specializations, more class seperation (more restrictions), a dialogue wheel, set NPC outfits only and that the art style was being revamped I was about...6.5/10.
As more time went by, seeing more screenshots and a few gameplay clips of goofy rogue spinning, kicking pinwheel attacks that looked like Hawke was competing for Olympic gold in figure skating and Varric's heavily WoW-inspired Volley of bolts from his crossbow I am about 4/10.
Right now I'm glad I didn't pre-order but I am still crossing my fingers and awaiting the demo. Hopefully I will still buy it, but right now my excitement level is hovering around 4/10, low but not too low to recover!
