9/10. I am in fact really looking forward to it. I'm torn about whether or not the lack of information is a good thing or not. It is incredibly frustrating sometimes, but paradoxically I'd rather not know much more about the story than we know now. I'd welcome more character reveals and gameplay footage, though. We really only have the one video showing us how the game actually plays.

Once it was a 1, with the changes from DA:O.

Now with the drm announcement there aren't negative numbers given as an option, so I can't really choose.

You'd think starforce was being used from that sort of reaction. You have unrealistic expectations.

8/10 for me.

Would have been 10/10 but -2 upon discovering Amazon UK will not be giving me my rightful pre-order promo content, and another -2 upon receiving a reply from Chris stating that Bioware will not be able to reimburse aforementioned content in anyway to those who have lost out on them.

Beleive me I want it to be 10/10 but the way this is being handled is appalling. And I couldn't care less about todays "miss-step"/announcement as some have put it. No demo? w/e, March 11th is just round the corner, besides I have a dissertation to do in the mean time.

10. But there are a lot of tens this year; DA2, Skyrim, ME3, Deus Ex, Arkham City, and Zelda: SS to name a few.

Game of the Year is going to be a tough call this year.

I had been around a 6. Demo talk pushed me up to a 9. Now I'm back to a 6.

8/10 - would be 100/10 if I could lay waste to Alistar and tap dance on his body though.

9, I am pretty excited for Dragon Age but the spot of my most anticipated game of the year is occupied by Mass Effect 3.

This year is going to be tough on my already overstrained wallet.

7.5/10 It's Bioware, so it will be good, but some of the changes that have been announced have killed some of my enthusiasm.

10/10 reserved for TOR and Arkham City

ME3 gets a 9/10

7/10

after the SE/Steam fiasco and finally playing The Witcher, I'm more excited for more of Geralt of Rivia action than Hawke..

I will try waiting for the ultimate edition or something like that later on, even though I know for sure Dragon Age 2 will be an amazing game, Bioware never disappointed me!

Well, seeing as the marketing team isn't responsible for the game content I'm still at 10. This is as excited as I get for games.

Eh, maybe 2/10.

Shogun 2, Deus Ex, The Witcher 2 and Skyrim all seem more exciting as of now.

Hah.  Don't tell me you've fallen for their marketing again.  Those guys can sell a game.  Sure, I expect that their "improved AI" promises will turn out to be a load of bull, but their marketing ensures I simply do not care.  They know how to push their fans buttons in a good way, that's for sure.

I'm going to respond to that in that I'm not so much worried about this demo business. But so much as that they've been intentionally hiding the gameplay, you can't really argue that when they first showed the gameplay  it wasn't a gigantic train wreck, the constant promises that this 'wasn't the finished product' most took as double speak as (The graphics will be better, we swear, and will remove those awful dysfunctional armor from the blight, we swear.) Not so much that they'd improve the gameplay, from what I've seen they've back-pedalled on what they put on the demo and have been showing the gameplay to look largely similar to dao except now the refresh gauge on your skills is much shorter, which isn't actually a plus or a minus.
