Well, as neutral as I can be with a Bioware game... That would be ten with any other developper, but I've been spoiled... After all, I'm posting in the DAII official forum yes?

I'm on the fence because of some of the design decisions and the lack of info/video's.
I mean we have what, one combat video with about 50 seconds of gameplay and a few minutes of people talking while standing in the dark... for some reason, and two dev diaries with tiny snippets.

hm, 7/10... it's the first of many games 2011. In a slow moving year it would have been the highlight, but not in 2011. I'd likely enjoy it, a lot, like any BW game in the last decade.

As for my anticipation level for DA2, hmm, 8.5/10? I don't think I've ever actually been at a 10 for anything. I automatically subtract at least one point from my actual total because I hedge my bets in anticipation of at least some minor, niggling disappointment and/or aggravation.

Maybe 5/10. Less so than Origins. Maybe getting too old to get all that excited. Have pre-ordered though which is the first time I have ever done that.

DA2, ME3, Zelda, and LA. Noir are the only must haves I have so far this year. Unless 2K suprises us and Bioshock Infinite comes out this year instead of next. Then DA2 moves down to 9/10.

I'm at 8, I think (maybe a 7.79). I adore DAO with an unholy passion, but I am a bit flummoxed by the marketing for DA2. That being said, so far I've liked everything I've seen and the companions seem interesting. I never thought I could enjoy a space soap opera and ME/ME2 turned out to be two of my favorite games ever, so I'm willing to put my faith in BW to deliver something solid if not earthshatteringly amazing.

Yes, I have my doubts, I always do. But I have great faith in Bioware. I adored DA:O, I like the direction they seem to be going with DA2 - I'm particularly fond of the emphasis on cinematography. I love the idea of the framed narrative. I like all the companions that have been released thus far. Basically I'm thrilled that they're "polishing it up," And as long as the writing remains at typical Bioware level (re: fantastic) I'll be one happy fangirl.

To be fair, it's probably because most people outside these forums are vastly uninformed in comparison.

for me it would have to be a 1/10, DA:O was pretty mediocre and honestly from what I have seen DA2 looks like it could very well be a huge flop, besides there are so many other games comming out this year that I am far more interested in than DA2.
