Alright.  Invent a time machine and go back in time when that episode of DBZ aired and make sure it is never aired or make sure DBZ never existed in the first place.  Somebody needs to stop crying about a simple joke.

Indifferent. I cancelled my preorder today because of the DRM news and I'll wait for the reviews. If it gets good reviews from people I trust, I'll buy it early from Steam. Otherwise, I'll wait for the price to come down. There are a lot of games coming out that look interesting.

I am confused. Why did you cancel over the DRM stuff. I looked over it and didn't see anything that was that bad, but you are the second person I have heard complain about it. Did I miss something important?

ETA: Not calling you out, just want to know what I am missing.

I think the negativity about DA2 is a bit overblown. The combat doesn't look a whole lot different, just tweaked. The 2/1/11 thing is funny, but 3/8 has been the date for a long time.

This is the same dance we do before eeeeevery BioWare game.  And the same thing will happen before Mass Effect X and DA3.

Agreed,

The announcement today sucked, and the outrage, both real and fake, was entertaining, but it has gotten a little depressing around here since.

Also, some people seem determined to be displeased regardless of what happens.

3/10, not enough to buy the game until it goes on sale for 20 or less. I would've pre-ordered if it weren't for the fact that EA is ruining Bioware and creating tons of bull**** DLC instead of just good old expansion packs with loads of content for a good price. So for now on all EA games only get bought $20 or less.

As for game content, I still have faith in Bioware. Just not enough to service EA.

Hah.  Don't tell me you've fallen for their marketing again.  Those guys can sell a game.  Sure, I expect that their "improved AI" promises will turn out to be a load of bull, but their marketing ensures I simply do not care.  They know how to push their fans buttons in a good way, that's for sure.

Thats the thing- I know full well the AI will likely disappoint as usual, but still, the RPG elements with the generals seem cool and visually it looks fantastic. And its still a PC only game, so I'll support that. They do a damn good job marketing their games, even though I know Shogun will likely have all the issues their past games have had.

This close to launch, we really should be getting/already have had more info on our party members and whatnot than we do. The DRM troubles me, but not enough to get me to cancel my preorder. However, that coupled with the general lack of anything about FemHawke, LIs, the final companion or two, etc... starting to bother me. Hard to get excited when I know next to nothing.
