If you rent a game from Blockbuster and it doesn't work, you get to play another version of that game at no extra cost. You don't get a free rental on top of that. I've never seen that happen.
If a game at home works but is bugged, you get to download a patch that fixes it at no extra cost. You don't get a free dlc on top of that.
This is how the world realistically works. People owe you a fix to their mistake at no extra cost, but asking for extra goodies for inconvenience is pushing it. You might as well sue them instead.

That's because it was built for the 360. The PS3 does not like it. Some people might be satified with "satifactory" running of a game but really when you're paying full price for a game that doesn't work and it doesn't work, whether it's an out of sync video or a corrupted save it's just not good enough.

You did not answer his question, would you be upset or not?
And in a sense you are right, they are not obligated to give us extra "goodies", but it is nice and also makes you think, "That company is nice, I mean sure they gave me a half assed product, but they fixed it and gave me bonus items too! I´ll be buying from them again if they care about their customers this much."
An example would be that when we first got satellite tv, it was not installed right and the company did not come back to fix it for a week. We were angry, but when they fixed it they gave us a month of free service on top of that. We decided to stay with the company.
A company has no obligation to give extra items to make up for a mistake, but it sure does help.
