Have you noticed the scars on Shepards face?...There the same color as the genetic goo being pumped into that human reaper. Seriously has NO ONE NOTICED....Has NO ONE NOTICED that his unusual return is down played and not explained..........Thats because THEY...ARE...RELATED.

Have you noticed that humans blood is also the same colour of the goo that gets pumped into the reapers?
OH NOES!? all life on earth was indoctrinated billions of years ago and the reapers grand plans are now finally coming to fruition.

You should also notice that Red=Renegade, Blue=Paragon. Dont put too much into the colour scheme, as that should automatically mean that Samara is very confused (blue skin, red suit), and Morinth is actually a good little girl.(Blue skin, and we know from Star Wars black clothes = good guys)

Seriously dude, you've been listening to Zulu_DFA too much.

Are you SERIOUS... There is nothing to suggest that samara is confused because she is blue and has a red suit cause red is renegade and blue is paragon...there is nothing linking that together, that is dumb dude

Common sense man.... There is no explanation to his return...think about it...that means there is more to that story, but what...Whey does that goo look the same as Sheps scars. Think about it(linking together).     We do know that that tech cerbreus has can bring someone back from the dead...........That same stuff looks as if it is being pumped into the human reaper. It just so... happends that they do not explane his return, and why, because it is a key plot revelation for ME3 other wise why wouldnt they just tell us why he returned like that and how creberus got that tech in the first place....Think!

Yeah i was thinking, with all those implants. Couldnt the Reapers indoctinate  Shepard easily now.

That is true. There is a part in the game where you can have the doc remove the cybernetic implants. Also with the cybernetic implants Shepard basically becomes a hybrid himself(if not removed).

You get implants durring the lazarus project. The implants never get removed, you can only get the scars healed.

The Reapers' intention is to reap what they sow for the Great Harvest.

The game says  "do you want to remove all evidence cybernetic implants" yes or no

this may or may not mean that they are removed but the game does say that its the cybernetics are causing the scaring. If they are not removed then that means that we could be in a world of s**t in ME3 especially if the tech came from the reapers/collecters.

I guess because it's in their genes (assuming they have that but they should since they're partially organic)?

Just like humans and all other organic life live to reproduce. Maybe the "task" of the Reapers is different from ours for some reason.

God... look at me being serious while everyone else is mocking the subject lol.

They do it to protect us from ourselves. All civilisations come to an end eventually. It's a natural cycle. The Reapers give the longest amount of time they can give us to exist before their hand is forced and they must wipe everything.

Leaving mass effect tech to continue unchecked is dangerous and causes dark energy rifts that threaten to destroy the entire galaxy. You gotta draw the line somewhere.

As a gesture of respect the Reapers then take the best of each civilisation during the wipe and honor their legacy by making them one of their own. A sentient nation that lives on and perpetuates the role of galactic protector/enforcer.

The End. Roll credits.

I believe in the description of the letter you get with the med upgrade it said the machine would quickly heal the scars. But doing good deeds have shown to naturally heal scars in time. So essentially the machine only heals the scars and hides the fact you have cybernetic implants.

Also i hope in ME3 we can add scars to our shepard , I really liked them in ME1 when i played it. The scars on the face make Shepard look tough, but not the ME2 scars, i always heal those even if i am a paragon. The scars are brutally annoying.

If Harbinger hacks Shepard I will laugh my head off.

That would be some decent continuity between ME2 and ME3.

Heck even better while Shep's being hacked he/she can play through his/her origin and service record.

The Reapers are merely the protector's of the galaxy, perhaps the race that made them saw the destruction of the universe if they or any other race were to evolve to quickly. Or perhaps the Reapers are being used to do someone's bidding so they aren't wiped out...

Once upon a time there was a high evolve civilisation controlling the entire galaxy. They created the Mass Relay and the Citadel where they were debating about important thing or not.

But, one day they realize that they were stuck in their evolution progress. Their species would slowly die and to prevent that... They decided to inject their whole civilisation into big machines known as Reapers and collect the DNA of species worthy to become one of them. Allowing them to grow and evolve each 50 000 years or more.

The unworthy species shall be utterly elliminated in order to allow new species to develop on a flat ground allowing them to make evolution by themselve.

Mostly because of something like that...

"Inanity"?

Inanity - something stupid / useless, ie: The Reapers' 'Realm' is reaping for pure lulz

i think depending on shepards background, Earth, Colonist, Spacer/ War hero, Sole survivor, Ruthless will have the most major impact on the ending cutscenses of the game. Because the game tailors to the facts of his origins.

Seriously though...If any of these theories are true, then the reaper intention is too comprehensible to be called incomprehensible. Really, It has to be that someone or something has a higher thought process than any sentient in the galaxy. A white mouse in a lab cannot comprehend what is being done to it. It can, however, thwart what the doctor is trying to do in some cases. That would be Shephard.

But here's the part that is comprehensible. The Reapers know that when intelligent beings die, the reincarnation cylcle is about 50,000 years. So, yes, they are killing everyone...but only temporarily...:)
