He was the Shadow Broker's agent in the Redemption comic. So he may work for Liara now.

I was a bit sad when I didn't see him in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Would've made more sense than Vasir. Hope he returns for ME3.

He could be a new squad mate in ME3 (Liara could send him to aid Shepard, for example). That would lend for some interesting dialog, given that Tazzik tried to give Shepard's body to the Collectors.

*Liara does a british accent* - "Let's not bicker and argue about who was going to sell who."

I was hoping that he would make an appearance in LotSB, as like, a mini boss prior to confronting the Shadow Broker. A shame! If he hasn't been killed prior to LotSB, then he likely works for Liara now.

It would be quite awesome if he were to make an appearance in ME3, especially if he were to discover that his employer is the same woman that he fought against a few years ago. It's quite possible that he will be ME3's token salarian squadmate.
I theorise that, originally, Vasir's role would have been filled by Tazzik. However, at some point, the writers decided that it would be far more interesting to again have Shepard fight another Spectre, as opposed to yet another thug or mercenary. Of course, this doesn't necessarily preclude him from appearing in ME3, as mentioned previously.
