You can easily keep us riding your blood dragon for more than a trilogy.

Was that an innuendo? Image IPB

I hope not, since it'd imply the customers are getting screwed...

Mike: There's plenty of returning characters in Dragon Age II, though none of them make quite the same entrance as Flemeth does. She's got style

"Rogues use either daggers or bows to obliterate single targets, and have numerous abilities that control the battlefield, stunning groups of foes and controlling aggro"

Really glad to hear this. I've always preferred to have my rogue spreading confusion and dismay amongst the enemy, as opposed to being the dps machines we more often see these days.

Also, first post, hello everyone.

Nice read. Quickie, but a goodie. I'm interested in his comments about bringing family "fully into the story", and hoping that it means for a larger focus on character interaction throughout the main plot. One thing that I've felt has always been lacking in Western RPGs is the real feeling of a group structure. It always seemed like one dude who has a bunch of different partners, rather than the leader of a group.

Whereas in JRPGs you really see the party come together much more realistically as people do when they're in close proximity with the same people for a long time. Tales of Symphonia, to name a specific example, had this in spades with characters constantly teasing each other and getting into arguments and conversations, and really acting like a family would.

I loved that about that game, so if we can see more interactions like that, I will be pleased. :)

Dragon Age III, (presumably) the last piece in the trilogy?

And Laidlaw did not correct him! ZOMG, there are only going to be three Dragon age games, despite there being a good eighty-some years left in the age to fill. Exclamation points!

There were nine Ultimas!

Ten, actually.  You missed Ultima VII Part 2.

And that doesn't count the two Ultima Underworld games, or the two Worlds of Ultima games.

Warriors + Rogues more in line with the mage experience? Does that mean that from now on, all classes are totally overpowered and thus boring to play? :/

I'm basking in that little tidbit about old favorites. Here's hoping I get my Leliana or Wynne cameo. I don't mind Oghren either--I loved that dirty midget--but he already had his extra fifteen minutes in Awakening. Time to share the limelight.

Well that was useless. It was full of information we already knew and most of it was just Mike evading questions.
