It must do it automatically for digital because i have digital version of Dragon Age Awakening and couldn't register and a month later i see that it appeared on my account as registered so must be the same for ME2.

I also bought it digitally but I don't have a code to register it so it doesn't appear under "My Games" on my side bar. Interestingly enough, when I signed into Dragon Age Legends on facebook for the first time, and registered my linked my bioware social account (which is linked to my PSN) I recieved Mass Effect armor that is only made available through owning the game.
