No one ever seems to mention music, am I the only one who thinks that the score for Dragon Age Origins was an important part of the story telling process? It was so beautiful, especially the song Leliana sings. I am very much looking forward to the music score for Dragon Age 2! Only a gifted composer has the ability to tell a story without words, and I hope the score for DA 2 is just as good as DA 1!

True, the music from DAO was great. Didn't care much for what Leliana sang, but I really liked the music that played during the battle at Ostagar and many others.

More than anything else, I'm looking forward to seeing Alistair again, either as king, which would be fun, or as an exile, which I really hope leads to improving his life in some way. I know it won't be huge. I think S.V. only recorded something like 50 lines, and if Alistair shows up in more than one incarnation, that would mean each of them would be quite short, but that's what I'm looking forward to the most. After that, I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds and the lore it creates.

Has it been confirmed that Alistair will appear in DA2?

Not by the devs, but Steve Valentine tweeted about recording the dialogue, saying that he did fun stuff, but that there was a lot less than in DA:O (paraphrased)

Kirkwall and the Free Marches. It'll also be fun to meet and experience a totally different people and culture like the Qunari. And then kill them.

I am also looking forward to seeing how the choices I made in Dragon Age Origins effect Dragon Age 2. It will be interesting to see if there are any major consequences for the decisions you made previously...

A more urban setting.
The political intrigue.

This is all I really want to experience in DAII.  Anything else is like really tasty icing.  Maybe cream cheese frosting...yeah, I'd like some carrot cake.

A really badass villain or some sort of wandering evil sensation. Nothing like that to get you hooked on a story. If it's just Hawke versus roaming darkspawn and thugs, I'll sure be a little disappointed.

Let's hope so ! Apart from Leliana's theme indeed and some themes here and there, the music is probably the only thing I wasn't particularly fond of in DA:O.

Interested in pretty much everything about relationship.(especially the bond between Hawke and his/her siblings). The friendship/rivalry is really appealing to me,since i love to see what kind of reactions different characters can have towards the player character.

One of the reasons why I love Dragon Age Origins so much is because it forces you to really know what your morals are, there are some fairly difficult choices to make. I hope Dragon Age 2 also has difficult moral choices, it's what makes the game seem more real and engaging.

mainly my wardens choices, the friendship/rivalry, and the whole "family looks like you" game mechanic

mostly the friendship/rivalry, cause if it is how i understand it, i will no longer have to act neurotic for approval, i can be normal and ACTUALLY roleplay for once! :D

I want to experience the story. Like I hope I can immerse myself enough with Lady Hawke to feel her story and her family and friends the way I did with my Warden. I'm also hoping the cutscenes are better looking and the romance as good if not better than DA:O. So far I'm pretty excited for the game.

Seeing how the game follows on from Origins (and the impact of uploading in formation from Origins).

Finding out what's up with Morrigan and her baby (hopefully)

Choice to play a female character - will almost certainly try that before I try a male character!

Findingout more about Isabella
