Hello,
I have registered my game under a particular email address and have successfully created an account with EA. However, when I try to login here it tells me I need to fill in some additional details to proceed using the site. I fill in the additional details and click next and it then tells me the email is already taken and I can get no further in the login process. Meanwhile it tells me I'm logged in under an EA account to the right.
When I startup the game I can also login using this particular email address and click on the button to go to the social site. It then brings me to that blasted screen again where it tells me to fill in some additional details. Except now to the right it tells me I'm currently logged in using my in game login.
I can't understand what is going on here and I want to enter in all my promo codes for the extras but am afraid something is going to backfire and I'll lose it all. So until I get this straightened out, I hesitate to use my codes.
Could an admin PLEASE pm me so I can give him/her my email address to see what is going on? I have emailed using the help link but have received no response.
Thank you,
Chris
Can an admin please help me with my login?

By this, do you mean that you created an account here, registered the game to that account, and then proceeded to create a new, separate EA account? Please be as specific as possible.AnotherLoginProblem wrote...

Please check out this screen shot for my exact problem. I have deleted my email and date of birth in this screenshot for privacy reasons but you will see the error message I get in Red. Notice to the right that it says I am currently logged in with my EA account which is the email address I am getting the error message with. It seems that the bioware site is not linking properly to my EA account like it is supposed to do.
Thank you for any help anyone can provide.

There are two ways to register on this site. One connects to an existing EA account, the other creates a new EA account behind the scenes. If you can successfully login to an account in the game it's because that particular e-mail address is tied to an EA account (and you should be able to login here using those same details). That's why I need to know what you mean when you say you've registered the game -- it sounds like the site is ignoring the fact that you're already logged in and tries to push you through the process of creating a new account.
When you try to login here, are you using the e-mail address or the desired username?

Hi,
Yes, I can log in just fine with the EA link you provided. I have no problem logging into the EA site. It's the bioware social site that I am having the problems with.
What I mean when I say I have registered the game is that I was able to put in the cd key when going through the install process and play the game just fine. Whenever I open the game it says I am logged in with my specific email address on the bottom left of the title screen.
But when I try to log in to this social site which is SUPPOSED to be tied to my EA account I get that situation in the screen shot.
I simply cannot login to this site with the email address I registered the game to with EA.

While not logged in anywhere, have you tried going through the registration process on this site from the beginning, selecting either the existing EA account or DA account options?
An alternative that should work (but I'm not advising it yet) is to register a brand new account here with the username you want, then ask EA to merge your two EA accounts (the one you have now and the newly created one). See 1.1.

Nop, no luck. It always loops me back to the screen saying it needs more information. And check out this screenshot:
http://i673.photobuc...LogInIssue2.jpg
This happens when I click the online profile button at the in game menu. If you notice to the right it now says:
"You are logged in with your in-game account. Please fill in some additional fields to continue using this site."
When I enter my email address and password on the left it gives me an error once again saying:
"The email address you provided has already been taken. Please provide another."
I'm at my wits end and I think the only thing that will fix this is getting an admin to access my account and getting this fixed behind the scenes. My registered email is in some sort of neverending loop where I cannot log into the site correctly.
Will an admin please be so kind as to respond to this post or perhaps send me a PM please.
Regards,
Chris

Are you able to use the items in game that you have redeemed? I'm about to say the hell with this social site business and just play the game. This site is buggy as all hell and just not worth the time or aggravation. Not to mention no one ever gets back to you with help tickets.

Unfortunately no. I cannot access any of the Downloadable content for the codes I have redeemed (a lot of them). When I click for downloadable content in game - it alt+tabs and asks me to log in to my BSN account. Therein lies the problem.
After having waited over a week for a response to my EA ticket ("You should receive a response within 24 hrs" - I wish) I've chucked it all in and started playing the game regardless.
Funnily enough my characters, screenshots and achievements are all uploading to my account. So I know it's working. I just wish I could LOG IN to the damn thing and retrieve all the goods I paid for.<_<

Oh man. Sorry to hear that. I was thinking of just redeeming the codes but on second thought I suppose I won't. The codes don't expire until April 2010 though at this point the way it's going with them answering help tickets I'm starting to worry.
Well, here's to them helping us out someday. *hoists Sam Adams*

I am in somewhat a similar situation to Brereton.
I created my account here on social, registered ALL of my redemption code, but I couldn't login to EA.
Then I de-activated my account and re-created it on EA's end.
When I came back to Social.bioware I couldn't login with my account because it says my email has already been used.
I need an admin to reset my account please and re-allow all of my Collector's Edition DLCs.

I too have a similar problem. I created one account using my info from EA and it wouldn't let me log back in. Week later I created this account. Shortly after they did an update to the site and now my email from my first account logs me into this account. I just want to use teh first account. Thankfully I haven't redeemed any of the DLC yet.
I placed a work ticket to get this fixed last week. Got a response saying the only thing they can do is delete the accounts. I told them to go ahead and haven't heard from then again.
I am really getting fed up with this entire site.
Phillip.

Bumping the thread to say that I have the exact same issue as the original poster. The problem lies with my real account, somekindazombie.
On day one I registered an account on the BSN. I then realized that I also needed to make an EA account. Afterwords, I could never again login to my original BSN account and trying to tie the EA account with this account has not worked. In the few weeks since launch I've tried anything I can to fix this problem; Different EA accounts, different web browsers, changing emails, changing passwords, nothing has worked. I've left messages with support, and so far there has been no communication from them. This is a big issues since on day one I put in all the pre order and dlc codes. This has left me not wanting to progress through the game in fear of missing out on the content that I've paid for and want to see. Hopefully they can figure out how to properly merge these accounts soon.

Same issue here. I'm logged in Firefox, but when I try to log though a different browser I am redirected to a singup page and asked for additional details (an there is an information displayed that I'm logged with my EA account). But when I press "next" I'm getting en error that my e-mail is already in use and I need to choose a different one.
Also I have redeemed the blood armor code and it does not show in the downloadable content list (PS3 btw). I can imagine both issues might be connected somehow.
