Dear heroes,

I have been playing SoA on and off for the last couple of years, and only until recently I have found the time and courage to get to ToB at last, which I have installed both ( o rly?). I know the experience cap in SoA is 3 million, which I reached in previous runs somewhere in Suldanesellar, cause I like to do every quest there is and have the highest xp reachable (though I don't swap NPC's to get XP from each personal Q; that's too much, even for me)....

This time, though, with ToB having my back, my XP won't stop @ 3 million; and the experience points keep going throughout SoA, especially since I completed Watcher's Keep with my SoA party all the way until the final seal before the Imprisoned One. That one I will do later, for obvious reasons...  Anyway, my point is: I have reached a sufficient amount of XP to go to a next level with all of my party members, but they are just above the SoA experience limit. My thought was that I had to wait until entering the realm of ToB before being actually able to level up.

Now, however, I have just spawned at Saradush, still very early in the game, yet I am here in the expansion. My party members have about 4,2 million XP, which I haven't contributed to levels ever since that stopped the last level before hitting 3 million (not even being able to do the level up @ 3 million xp or 1,5 for multi-classers).

Will I be able to level up soon, or is it some evil plot to keep my energy drained in a very extraordinary manner?

Thanks! :crying:

to expand on what the other said, you have to choose your HLAs (high level abilities, see TOB manual for descriptions) before you can finish the level up process, just like you HAVE to choose proficiencies or thief abilities or spells for a sorcerer. It's just the HLAs have an extra click to select them.
