Hey, what steps did you use to pretty these up? I smell a noise filter with a screen layer, but I'm not sure.

Awesome. Never thought of messing with the gamma levels.Rusty Pabst wrote...
My overall goal was to make them look a little less "CGI". Mainly use a lot of different layers of gaussian blur to make the light sources "bloom" and glare more like they do in photos and to blur away unimportant parts of the image to emphasize the main points of interest. Some of the layers of blur are mixed with the original image using "hard light" which increases the contrast (after increasing the gamma a little so they don't get too dark). I also have the in-game film grain turned off and then add in grain (it's really just noise) in photoshop for better control.

BTW, can I use that shot of Jack as an avatar? Not right now, but possibly when I get bored with Joker's DO NOT WANT face?
Awesome. Thanks!Rusty Pabst wrote...
Sure. I posted them on the web for people to use however they want. (I obviously don't own the rights to ME, anyway.)

God I wish my PC could handle games like Mass Effect 2. My xbox is the original so it doesn't support HDMI and I can never get such HQ pictures such as these. Great job.
