Pretty sad that Bioware didn't fix the Estevanico bug in the PS3 release, considering they had plenty of opportunity to do so.

I find it funny how I never witnessed that issue on PC version despite going through that mission about 10 times and yet on my 3rd playthrough of PS3 I hit it... only not at the usual spot (I believe the known one is when you have to do a cover/jump twice right?) nope, I got it right near the end as was walking over that last beam, just as got to the end Shep got sent into the sky! Restarted mission and decided to take it nice and slowly over that last beam and made it over ok.

Still saddens me that this particular mission could have been even more epic if they'd had the balls to make it so you had to walk all over it rather than freely be able to run. First time I did that mission I had my Shep slowly walking over it all and panicked a bit whenever it looked like it might tip over. Was disappointed when on 2nd playthrough I decided to test if this was true by running the whole route and not having Shep fall to their death :(

Anyway am just glad the PS3 version doesn't suffer what some people on the PC version have to suffer on the Abandoned Space Station mission whereby that laser in one of the rooms can cause the game to crash :( (unless it's been fixed in the last 6 months). Was neat finally being able to see it do what it was supposed to do rather than having to do the 'hotfix' of turning quickly away as turned the last plate into position.

I've done the Estavinco mission on about five partial playthroughs... I've had the glitch on only a couple of occasions, because it's so short a mission, it really wasn't that big a deal to restart the mission. No glitches on the abandoned space station.

I've encountered this is other parts of the game. However, the Estavinco mission utilizes a lot of narrow path (in 3 dimesions) walking that I've been left floating in air near on the beam near the end, as well as parts near the begining. This seems to be a flaw throughout ME2. I've even walked ACROSS the navigation display on the Normandy. Luckily, walking back to the podioum will drop you back down to floor level.

Necro'ing this thread just to let BW know there is still a problem. For whatever reason, I didn't do this quest before. So I am doing it today for th efirst time, and I get to within an arm's reach of the mainframe to finish it, and I'm stuck in the environment. Reloaded, and did again, and same thing. I'm only a few feet from the end, and I can't get there from here. Stuck in air. Frustrating since I figured the rest of it out only to havea pathing prob.

May try another time but asking to have it looked at? 360 version here. I suppose it was hard to do the pathing with all the narrow walkways, but still....if shoulda been yanked if it didn't work.
