Heh. And when they don't kick off this supposed "big marketing push" what will you change your tune to next?
It's funny how some form of this argument is always postulated in response to any concern.
"Don't like the low res blurry textures? I am sure they will be fixed before release!"
"Don't like the flashy combat moves? I am sure they will be fixed before release!"
And it's not just this game, it's like every game ever where some players have had some concerns about what they've seen. There's no reason to believe EA/Bioware are holding back some huge flood of information (2.1.11 lol) just like there's no reason to believe the graphics we've seen aren't the mostly complete final product.
I'm not quite sure where you're coming from on this since I've never made any claims one way or the other about textures or combat moves. Perchance you've lumped me into some generalized category of forum participants that I'm unaware of? Regardless, I'm one who thinks EA's marketing machine will do their job and market DA 2. As someone who does not work for BioWare, EA, the video game industry, or in marketing I don't consider myself qualified to second guess EA's DA 2 marketing decisions. I just play RPG's. I can postulate a fair number of reasons for EA's promotion of DA 2. Maybe they don't want to interfere with promotion of Dead Space 2. Maybe they've already booked a million or more pre-orders for DA 2 and their little marketing formula says when a game has a million or more pre-orders it will easily sell three million or more units post-launch and they're celebrating with gleeful naked dancing in moonlit forests instead of cranking out DA 2 TV commercials, magazine ads, and web banners. Are any of those postulations valid? I've no clue. And that probably goes the same for most if not all that post in this or similar threads.

Look at my above posts
I've seen DA2 ads on yahoo, youtube, vgchartz
I've seen them EVERYWHERE
Either this forums only goes on the Bioware social network or is blind
That or possibly use ad-blocking plug-ins in their browser...
