when will some of the more hardcore fans get over the fact that most likely you won't play as the warden ever again?

I've already extensively stated my reasons for why the Warden won't come back and why I am fine with it in other threads.

First we whine, moan and complain that we cannot play our Wardens anymore.
Then we gradually grow mature and actually start to like Hawke.
That's how it went for me. And I knew it from the moment it was announced that Hawke was going to be the main protagonist.

However, that is a minor point of irritation, compared to the even more restricted classes, the absolutely ridiculously over the top combat, the comic-book look, the console-like gameplay, the lack of choice in race, the voiced protagonist and the inability to give your companions an outfit that you can bear to look at.
So I guess that there's a reason why few people bother to mention the warden anymore.

If Hardcore equals a few misguided people who are unable to let go, i would say they have come to accept it or left the forum, either way it's nice with the quiet.
No way! I'm still here baby! I'm just letting my stamina bar regenerate. The time is close...

Actually the taint did give you death so I don't really need the second line and what really stood out for me was not the warden but the introduction of the world and peoples so I suppose I don't really hold old Angus so dear, just the memory of his adventures.
But i'd like to play a qunari.
Damn, i've got to stop arguing myself out of things.

At the start of Origins we are already 30 years in to this age. A Warden has a life expectancy of thirty years once he goes through the joining.
Hawkes story spans over a ten year period. Also at the end of Awakening it is said that some people fear another blight is soon to follow. If you are an orlesian warden you are called back to Weisshaupt, many believe there is another blight.
Now that being said after hawkes story whose to said we wont face another blight in another country. And I doubt they would make you roll a new warden if yours is still alive.
I am not saying that it is stupid they got rid of the warden. I am only giving reasons for why S/he could return someday. And who is to say we wont get another character in DA 3 or DA 4.

I'm sorry, what makes us think we'll never play as the Warden again?
because the character has several endings in the first Dragon Age and even in the expansion packs. So there really is no need for players to play as the character again

So I don't think "hardcore fans" really gets at the heart of the issue.
