Hey guys, so I bought a flash drive so I could get an awesome new Shepard but I need help. I am looking ALL over the internet for a website to download a saved Mass Effect 2 profile for the XBOX 360 (all I see are ones for the PC)but I can't find it anywhere! Can someone help? Also, it would be cool to have a profile that had like, level 60 and infinite squad points and everything researched and stuff like that. Not saying it should be a website with mods, but a place with an ALMOST (don't want it to be TOO easy) invincible Shepard to download.

P.S. Guys, I'm not trying to be a noob and breeze throught the game to get achievments. I have read the books. I beat the 1st Mass Effect on Hardcore and imported my character to Mass Effect 2. And I have beat the game on Hardcore and in the middle of playing on Insanity (Which isn't that hard, because Mass Effect was my 1st RPG, and before I got it I would play Halo and Call of Duty all day long. And for an experienced shooter game; Mass EFfect isn't that hard). The only reason why I would play it is just to have fun. I would defenatally NOT import it to Mass Effect 3. I'm gonna import my Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2 profile to Mass Efect 3.

It can't be done for 360.

There are probably mods but modding and cheating are both against xbox live terms of service and will get your account and possibly your console banned off xbox live to the year 9999.

Don't know whether it can be done to be honest (downloading a save). It seems feasible to copy a save from say a friend and then use that on your own 360.

However, I think you're looking for saves for the wrong reason whether or not they are available.

(1) Mass Effect caps out at 30. Mass Effect capped out at 60.

(2) Squadmates also cap out and you can't get all characters maxed out. You can play around with their set-up if you complete LotSB.

(3) All stuff researched is possible, but depending what you wanted them for it might be useless. There isn't really a new game plus for ME2 like for ME. All abilities and equipment reset to the beginning when you start a new game with the exception of the modular armour. Shepard will not be anywhere near invincible.

(4) If you are wanting these for an import into ME3, I don't think it will bring you the advantages you may have in mind. If you've imported from ME to ME2 you'll know what I mean.

Why not play the game on the easiest setting to max out a profile?

Wait, why not? I mean, when I got my new Xbox I just put my flash drive into my Xbox, copied my Mass Effect folder (or did I just copy they saved game, I forgot), and put it on my Xbox. So I don't get why it would be hard to do. Just put my flash drive into my Xbox, copy the necasarry files, and upload it to some file sharing website. Then somebody downloads it, put it on their Xbox, then play it. And I was kidding when I said modded. I am not a fan of getting my account banned (although I could just play offline, because I mean, it's not like I'm gonna need XBL unless I'm in a Party (which is very interesting, because Mass Effect is one of the few games I classify under "non-party games" which means that the games' storyline is so good I have to listen to every word.))

I hear what you're saying, but I don't think it would do what you want anyway.

Technically it should be possible to download a save as you suggested, much like copying a friend's save and using it on your own 360 (as I stated previously). The points I brought up were different to Malacath360's and I explained why.

I'll summarize my general point again though: There's little point in having a perfect save game because there are no real advantages it gives you.

Researched items are for that game only (they aren't carried over to a new game plus or into a new game), but you already know this having played the game a couple of times. I'm just stating something you already know. Only bought armour parts will carry over to a new game plus (assuming you imported your ME2 character back in again, you'll also know this; if not, now you do).

You state you just want to play that save for fun, which is fine. But all the fun stuff has been done, or at least what I consider fun. In the save you said you're looking for, all missions would have been completed for the research to be complete as well. There will be little to interact with; there are no more fights; and there are no missions left to do. Sure, you can go to another planet and walk around, but it's not like the Grand Theft Auto games where you can pick a fight, or just nick a car and drive down a road changing radio stations for example. After getting everything done, there's nothing left to do in ME2 (apart from endlessly calling up your love interest, assuming you have a ME2 character as a love interest).

So, I'm sorry I personally cannot see the point of acquiring such a save for fun. Whether you decide to use that save to import is your decision (nothing to do with me). Whether it's for achievements...well, that doesn't bother me either if that is how some gamers max out their trophy points or whatever they're called (I pay little attention to such things myself though I did go for the ones in Dragon Age).

I apologise for the tone, but after learning I'll be missing out on some promos for DA2 I'm a touch miffed.

OOOOOOO. I'm still surprised they don't have it anywhere on the Internet. In that case, is there anywhere I CAN get MODDED MASS EFFECT 2 SAVES.. Because I don't really think BioWare is too concerned about modding as I'm not hurting anyone (as opposed to Multi-player games like Halo where you ruin the game for other people). And if it turns out they are strict about it than I will just play it offline.

I think there are threads concerning modding the 360 version of ME2 on the forums. Though what the nature of those mods are I don't know. Have a search around.

It's MS who are bothered by modding. It doesn't matter if it's single player or multiplayer.

System tampering they call it. And the standard punishment is an 8000 year ban with no second chances or warnings.

The only legal way to get saves is to copy your friends saves via a memory stick but that disables achievements if your bothered about them.
Edit: just read on another thread that saves might be copy protected so that won't work.
