It was intended to be playful poking - possibly a request of actually adding it in, depending upon the responses. I kept seeing(and still see) the topic pop up every couple days, like a strange thread-based juggernaut, and thought I'd make a rival thread - stove had the last 3 letters of love, so it was a perfect fit. :)

And so, Fight for the Stove was born. Frankly I think my work on Normandy Trail was a lot more original, but this was sort of my first big success so it holds a place in my dark, bleeding heart of darkness. And stuff.

... Kind of strange way to pronounce one of them.

Anyway, I hope there's no alien food we have to cook. I only find human food appealing. I'd be fine with both options present, however. Image IPB

I think this might actually be a realistic possibility in ME3, seeing Liara's kitchen in her Illium home in LotSB. You could purchase ingredients for Gardner in ME2, they could have easily made this into a mini-game/side-quest of "preparing a surprise dinner for your LI". If you fail the cooking mini-game, you'll be given various dialogue options.

Your carefully prepared dish is burnt. Liara will be home in 15 miniutes. What do you do?

- Throw it in the airlock

- Put lots of sugar in it

- Call Mordin to ask about what to do

- Call Joker to ask about what to do

- Order takeouts from the Fishdog Food Shack

- Investigate

As much as this thread is lol-worthy, stove doesn't rhyme with love. Unless you mispronounce one or the other.

They share the same ending 3 letters, stop taking my words and nitpicking them >:( I suppose they do not literally rhyme. I can't believe I'm re-discussing the bloody thing...

Just saying, it was you who said they rhyme. :D

They rhyme during Shakespeare's time, IIRC.

Since the Fight For The Love thread was a success I see no reason why Shepard can't cook. It'd be a waste not to implement it with the kitchen already being in the SR-2's crew deck. I want my Shepard to be able to flip hamburgers or pancakes.

I'm all for cooking, particularly if there was an interesting mini game and maybe a boost to morale after a great meal.

This was one of my all-time favourite threads, glad to see the support for Chef Shepard!

I'd like the ability to cook both levo and dextro-based cuisines.

I like the idea. I enjoy cooking, and Shep should too as well.

Well since Cooking Mama is an awesome game I'll say sure.
