-The Simpsons
-I Love Lucy
-All in the Family
-MASH (earlier the Episode, better it is)
-Breaking Bad
-Absolutely Fabulous
-Barney Miller
I could just keep going, but I better stop...lol

- Friends
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Big Bang Theory
- That '70s Show
- Law & Order SVU
- Dexter
- Grey's Anatomy
- The Sopranos
- Sons of Anarchy
- Everybody Loves Raymond
- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
I will give honorable mention to The Wire and The Shield only because I have not viewed them in their entirety. My ex bought both on DVD for us to watch together, but he always skipped ahead and I would become lost.

There are a few shows that I really want to see that I haven't been able to yet - especially The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Deadwood. I think they may end up on my list once I've got hold of the DVDs.
1. The Wire
2. The Thick of It
3. Father Ted
4. The Simpsons
5. Yes Minister
Honourable mentions to Dad's Army, Jim Henson's Storyteller/Greek Myths, Drop the Dead Donkey, Buffy, One Foot in the Grave, Futurama, Wallander with Krister Henriksson, Firefly, Black Books and whatever has slipped my memory.

The Wire
The Shield
Burn Notice
Spartacus: Blood and Sand - A shame Andy Whitfield is battling cancer,
Some of my favorite shows always get canceled earlier. Sadface.
Party Down - brilliant black comedy and highly recommended if you've never seen it.
Arrested Development - most people know it but if you haven't, watch it
Terriers - An absolute travesty this was canceled after one season. The two leads had amazing chemistry together. It was refreshing watching a crime show with a noire slant. Brilliant stuff.

In no particular order...
Firefly - sadly gone too soon.
The Shield - maintained the quality till the end. No easy feat.
Party Down - I'm with Inaborat on this one, brilliant piece of dark comedy.
Babylon 5 - Good show in it's time, and it ages well. Still enjoy it on dvd.
Battlestar Galactica (new version) - Disappointed in the latter seasons, though.
Deadwood (HBO)
Rome (HBO) - Gotta hand it to HBO, they make some awesome series. I'll never subscibe, but I catch all the HBO series on dvd.
