I am sure this was brought up before and i realise Asari eyes are known to change colors (at least to black and back).

Why have Liara's heavenly silvery eyes turned ocean blue in the Lair of the Shadow Broker?

They were always blue, but they do look slightly different. Her face looks a little different but I don't think they changed it. I think it's the graphics upgrade.

I prefer the lips and eyes - especially the eyes, beautifully shining blue-grey - from ME1 Liara, but otherwise her new face is amazing.

EDIT:  Just to be clear, I love Liara and her eyebrows and I think she's gorgeous.

I can understand why the character designer would put eyebrows on Liara to make her more human-like, but I've always wondered what the in-game explanation was.

More likely a artificial addition that is completely aesthetic. Lots of Asari we see have various facial and scalp tattoos that have no apparent rhyme of reason.

Yeah, you're probably right about that.

Liara has the most beautiful blue eyes of any being in the universe, fictional or otherwise. While I also like that she has a very pretty face, a nice body and a rather innocent and honest demeanor and personality, her celestial heavenly blue eyes have my soul spirited away every time.

Also, I like the eyebrows and the updates to her appearance.

I myself preferred the silvery eyes... i mean she is blue enough already! I also preferred the lips with no make-up tbh but the freckles are a nice addition.

I personally will say Asari have the most beautiful eyes in the game, but I think Samara beats Liara.

The new Liara definitely looks better.



Her deep blue eyes are quite captivating. Also the texture on her skin is way better. She looked like a tadpole or some kind of slimy amphibian in the first one.
