 I'm trying to use texmod with me2 but i cant find the .exe in the /binaries folder. They way i have always played was from the games launcher in windows 7. That icon also doesnt point to a .exe, it just points to "Mass Effect".

Where on earth do i find the .exe for me2?

Extensions can be invisible. In that case "MassEffect2" is the executable, unless you're in the binaries folder in My Documents.

Im in the binaries folder of my documents and it shows that there are no files in that folder. Ive even disabled hiding hidden folders and files, still no show. I dont know how, my ME2 has ran fine since launch, it isnt running off an .exe.



I purchased the game on relase-day through D2D. So im not sure if they have some special DRM that removes the .exe, but I've never had a problem running the game.



Any more ideas?

I've always launched the game by searching via Win 7 from the start button, and from what I gathered. from what i gathered, that icon points to the icon in my Games Explorer...but that icon isn't an .exe either.



I dont know what up, the config and launcher can appear whenever I want to call them, but neither the config, launcher or game have an .exe anywhere on my HDD. I'm absolutely baffled.

As I said, that's the wrong folder. Maybe I sould have been more clear. There are two Binaries folders. One in My Documents, which is empty, and one in the installation folder. It has to be there and it's called "MassEffect2".

DUH! *facepalm* How could I have been so dumb? I read that comment and browsed through my C: drive once more. Lo and behold the .exe was at C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries

Honestly, I feel really dumb now.
