during the whole buildup to her scene she goes on about feeling "her skin on yours".

We know during the scene her and Shep get smooches, but is that it? Or does it go farther?

Cause to me that would be a huge :( if they didnt. But at the same time if they did go "all the way" it would seem either:

A: Quarians arnt as weak as they think

or

B: Tali should have wayyy more then a cold.

Thoughts? :wizard:

They purposely leave it inconclusive for roleplay purposes...some people would want to have "gone all the way", others would have wanted their character to keep it "just smooches".

The purpose was to allow you to decide for your own character.

More likely it was to avoid what happened with ME1.

Talis romance is kind of sweet like an awkward teenager (which she probably is in human terms).

Quarians do not get sick, they get allergic reactions, so regardless how far they went, she would have more or less the same reaction from any skin/air contact.

I think scenes were no longer nude due to the ridiculous Fox news fallout in regards to ME1 scenes

Yes, they were supposed to have sex.

You see nothing to avoid contrerversy such as the blown out of proportion reaction to the romance scene in Mass Effect 1.

The reason they didn't show any more of Tali (whereas with Miranda she started taking her clothes off) is almost certainly due to the decision to not show what Quarians look like yet, if at all.

Sex is implied to have happened, as with all "romantic" avenues in ME2.

I think it's blank and you are free to precieve it however you want.

That said, there is something to be said about how if all it takes is some antibiotics and boost shots to suddenly make interspecies sex with another race of whom's biology is already drastically different to ones own AND in an unsterilised environment no less.... I see no reason why the Quarians can't just settle on some new planet.

It can't be NEARLY as bad as they make it out to be.

But still, that's just how I see it. No need to be offended and try to crucify me for it... please?

Obviously quarians are just a race of those annoying people who are intolerant to milk or bread or something. and are always ill. and are always on about it. give it a rest quarians. bunch of hypochondriacs.

just need a dose of man the hell up. to be taken orally 3 times a day.

no sympathy.

I think Bioware just opted out of going to the trouble of creating nude models for all SIX love interests (which all had to be unique) given time/resource constraints. In ME1 they pretty much had only one scene and two nude models which were changed up depending on the romance. For ME2, because of the way things were set up, all six had to be different.

The way she says it was totally worth it makes me think they went all the way.

In the buildup of the romance there's also a dialogue about the nerve-stims and so on where she says explicitly that she don't wanna use them and do everithing for real. Than there's the chat with Mordin about the fact that the sex is a wonderful antistress and about comfortable positions etcetera. No doubt that the girl lost her virginity if you ask me. The scene fades to black just because it's hard to hide the appearance under clothes of a naked person.

If I would have been there, it would have taken all my willpower to not ask "but if that floats your childs/husbands boat, who are you to judge him?". Its a free world, right? :P

Well when it comes to the reproductive side of things, it would appear that only Salarians are different from humans, makes sense seeing as they are amphibians. I imagine Krogan would be different too but anyway, that explains the how they can have sex.

As for the immunity side of things, she takes antibiotics, "herbal supplements" and still gets sick, this is after only a matter of minutes (presumably) of exposure, so I don't think whipping off the environmental suits is the way to go for them just yet. It is mentioned in a conversation why they can't just settle on a new world anyway.

You smooch, then after it cuts to black she whips out her alien dick and you play tummy sticks.

This should definitly not be left to our imagination

No she's actually 24 in human and Quarian years. But still your first point was completely valid. It also explains why I hate Fox News.

I don't get it.

Fox News and others get all puffed up about a half-second of side-boob in ME1, but throw the same side-boob in a movie and it gets PG-13 slapped on the side without so much as a whimper.

Personally, it speaks to BioWare's capabilities. Sexuality and Sensuality are two different things, and despite being fairly conservative in their visuals, the entire seen was exceedingly sensual.

It's the unfortunate state of this nation that not enough people can tell the difference, so it's okay if starlets walk around in thong bikinis, but heaven forbid we start injecting emotion into an intimate session.

BioWare, if you choose to pursue a similar vein in ME3, I hope you won't be swayed by the over-abundance of ignorance present between the two. I appreciated the crafting of the scene greatly, and look forward to further derivatives of the artists.

as far as I can tell Quarians have a similar life span to humans, so Tali would be more like a fresh out of college adult.

anyway as for the question, I'd have a hard time imagining Tali taking off her whole suit, but for all I know there could have been a little hatch down there.
