1. For your experience, how well do two Templar work together (specifically Alisitair/Loghain and Oghren)?
2. How many talents in the spec do you use and why?
3. How would you gear them up? I have both of the spell resist Templar gear, but one is clearly inferior. I have 2 The Spellward and one is on my PC SS Mage. All though it pains me, I guess I can give one to each of them. If the human takes the better plate, and the dwarf takes the other weaker one (due to default 10% spell resist) the get 70%/60% spell resist each. Currently, my Alistair is wearing the Blood Dragon Armor set minus the chest along with the better Templar chest piece. They look great together honestly.

1. Ability-wise they work just fine together. Two Holy Smites is better than one. However, one of the main benefits of Templar is that you can wear the special Templar armor. Some of that is unique so you can't really get the full benefit for more than one character.

2. I would use zero or four (you should have enough points for four late in the game anyway). You can use it only for spell resist, in which case you don't need the talents. If you do start getting the talents, I don't see why you wouldn't want Holy Smite. It's by far the best one.

3. Don't really know. I guess I would try to max spell resist on the dwarf and let him handle casters if possible.

1. Two Templar companions are perfectly compatible. Though it might be seen as a bit of a waste of a companion slot. The only time you really want a second templar is if the first gets stuck in a crushing prison/forcefield/Curse of Mortality, which is perhaps infrequent.

2. Cleanse Aura is useful if companions get stuck/immobilized. It is also a great way of making the fight with Zathrian in Nature of the Beast a breeze, since he immobilizes the werewolves. Free them and let them win the battle for you. Holy Smite is also excellent (cast on enemy mages). The others, bit weak really.

3. There's some Templar armour from the Mage's Tower, and I believe there's a second set for sale somewhere (outside Orzammar??). If you build with an eye to magical resistance, you can achieve 100% resistance (you might have to be a Dwarf for that, actually, so it's viable with Oghren at least), with the right equipment. Don't know off the top of my head what that equipment is though.

Or if you want 2 x Holy Smite. It has a long cooldown, so it makes good sense to have more than one Templar if you like using it.

Imagine two Champion/Templar warriors spamming their knockdown abilities...

In case you're interested, I found where the second Templar-specific armour is sold - Ruck sells it in the Deep Roads, of all places.
