Does anyone know yet if the current toolset is going to be any good with DA2? Like face morphs and stuff?

Not known at this time. No official support right now that is for sure. I don't think we will know what can or cannot be done until DA2 comes out.

I think face morphs are definitely out since they have a new system (which looks like it will support scripting to some extent).
I expect the scripting to remain similar so if the GDAs can be decompiled to get a look at the raw data underneath, we should still be able to do some hacks (the most sought after being item mods currently).
One thing to note is that while save games from DA can be read in DA2, that is limited to plot flags I suspect. Some of the parameters, like character property constants, have been completely changed so a direct import into DA2 (with character, items, etc) would not be possible.

TimelordDC, are you aware of any "hacks" for existing DLC .erf files? It would be nice just to be able to edit some of the weapons and items from Awakenings, Witch Hunt, etc.
