 Got the urge to break out the game again after a few years.

IDK if my dvd is scratched or it its just not playing nice with windows 7 pro 64.

Install starts out fine till i get to 1200_highcliff.mod then I get a abort, retry, ignore error for it not matching the setup cab files.

Of course I later get the file is invalid if I try to update.  I even tried to install in safe mode and always got the same error.

I might be willing to rebuy the game as a digital download at this point, but I'd be ROYALLY ticked if i paid for the game again and it does the same error.

Any thoughts?

You can try copying the disc to a Desktop or temp folder ..



( if it copies ok, work it from there )

It appears to copy fine but produces the same error on install every time.

$20 on Steam.

$10 for just for the original campaign on atari. I'm just loath to spedn the money for 2 reason mostly.



1. I already own it.

2. Possibility of the same error.

maybe I'll just reinstall the old nwn1 and see how that works. lol
