the reason those 'axe blades' are there, sticking into the clearing, is because my adaptation of your code increases Loop from 3 to 4 !
To compensate, I let the conditions for Loop==2 go through on new Loops 2 or 3, and then Loop==3 becomes new Loop 4. This increases the radius that gets cleared nicely (imo) but leaves those blades sticking in, on skewed diagonals ( not exactly at 45deg but slightly +/- ). (I'm not sure if this is happening on myLoop==3 or myLoop==4 ...)
