hey in todays gameplay peek, at the end, after he recruits isabella, it gets to the character select screen and they are all there. does that mean that isabella is the last one? meaning in the demo we get to find ALL of the people? or is the demo an altered version??

@taco As in DA:O you can probably obtain party members in different order. I doubt they would change things just for a demo so Isabela is probably one of the last ones as you think. We won't know until release.



@Dr. Wonderful There are dumb and ignorant people on this world unfortunately. They blame everything on videogames when its the fault of the parents not paying attention to what they're doing. Its like buying a porn movie for your kid without noticing the 18+ sign on the front. Maybe we need a sign that shows age instead of M. I know that the age is displayed right at the top on a smaller font but perhaps the order should be inverted.



It was a good decision to pull out the gamestop demo as that would had just resulted in codes being sold and the demo being leaked across the internet. Better to release it on 22 for anyone. I believe it was a better alternative to show the demo running in a live video as they did today. Well done Bioware. I'd rather have a developer of the game walk me through it than a gamestop employee who probably doesn't cares about rpgs.

It had it's advantages, it was originally to have someone know the game, and convince you to buy it pre demo. With the sale (during the demo) and the demo walkthrough they are hoping that will also convince more people to pre order. I think it's affective.



My only comment is it just seems like a lack of foresight. I mean you would think game developers in the modern world would know, that when you give something to a large number of select people, chances are it will leak.



Still I'll be happy for demo in a week or so.

I just realized that the demo comes out the day AFTER this little break from school I get is over. Oh well, I'll probably stay up for the demo anyway :U

Disappointing about the gamestop early demo not working out x_x had a bad day and came out to sit down and play the demo. No sir no such luck welp still looking forward to the game and still planing to tell everyone I see everything I know about it! woulda been nice with some hands on though T_T! wait... killing me... must... play

Oh ...fortunately in the real world responsibility doesn't end at the ignorant parents.This is why a 12 yr old cannot walk into a Newsagent and purchase a porno magazine.

The Certfication is useless on it's own without a conscientious game store employee.

@tacopacabana @namedforthemoon Actually the part of the demo of recruiting Isabela is on a later level. The demo skips from the prologue to that mission with leveled up characters and almost all your party so you can have a taste how combat with fully leveled characters and party members will be.

Not when it in the power of the customer to turn around and look at that sign. I remember when she bought the damn game for him, she saw that sign TWICE and still bought it.

hate to burst your bubble, but that's something everyone who has "direct contact" with customers has to deal with. Take one look at Chris and the other Bioware devs here. Sometimes i'm honestly surprised that there hasn't been a mass suicide at Bioware what with all the Complaints here.



I worked at a computershop once, the amount of people who complained that the computer they bought couldn't play the dvd they bought, even though they had the newest CD-Rom Drive properly installed....

Oh I know, which is why I never whine or Complain. I have too much respect for the people at Bioware. Hell, I even develop  respect for your  computershop problems.

No it's our job to go, "you understand this is rated M: *then read off what it says* for Blood, Gore, Use of alchohol, strong lanugage etc etc"

That way they can't say anything about if you told them it was good for their kids or not because you covered your ass from the get go. "I didn't know it had this!" "I told you it had strong use of lanuage when you bought it and you still did. That is your fault maam." You have to throw things in peoples' faces otherwise they aren't observant and just drone through life, hence why they are taken by surprise. Yeah we have to put up with idiots but you also have to be expert situation diffusers. Much like any retail job. 

I worked last night and everyone there, employees that is, agreed that it really sucks we couldn't get the demo but we understood. Bioware tried to give us nice things and we ruined that opportunity. It just sucks for the ones that were good little girls and boys. This is why we can't have nice things D:
