Just confirmed by EA Germany. Demo coming on 22nd February for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

You can play the prologue with all three classes and you also get to see Kirkwall and Isabela. The demo also unlocks a weapon called "Hayders Razor", which increases health, mana and "combat skills".

SWEET! I hope they do the same for Mass Effect 3 this time instead of coming out with the Demo months after the Release.

What I would have liked to have seen was instead of getting the one weapon when you beat the demo, you get something dependent on the class you beat it with. So if you beat it with a rogue you would get a dagger, mage would get a staff(maybe a robe since there are a few staves already), and a warrior would get something warrior-y. Still, yay for the demo and free stuff!

Before i watched the live gameplay video and interview i thought "DAMN im goign to get creamed if i dont start thinking critcally." So hopefully this demo will give me anough time to start thinking like a true warrior with this new skill tree. But i will defenately play the demo because Dragon age II looks liek a great game for RPG and fantassy fans

I wasn't going to play the demo but I've found my self torn between making my canon Hawke a Mage or Warrior as either fits with my plans. So I guess I'll try them both out and see which one I like more.

That's one of the reasons why I'll be playing the demo,to find which class I would want to play as by experiencing the new combat in the demo.At least you get a special sword for your warrior by playing the demo.

 you download it ...then install it.

Have they announced how large the file size of the demo is yet?  I checked a couple of back pages but have not seen anything yet.

Main concern is if it is a very large file and I can't download it all at once due to bandwith.

We've had a James K. Polk Hawke, and my office mate assures me that an Obama Hawke and a Clinton Hawke are both possible. so even if you can't do it in the demo, you can do it in the full game. Enjoy, folks!

No.The levels are fixed but you'll most likely have some extra points to spend in the second part of the demo like they did with ME2.
