Questions:

1.) Can we import from Origins into this demo?
2.) Is there a character creator with the demo or are we stuck playing default Hawke?
3.) Does the demo allow you to just start the full version of DA2 from where the demo leaves off?
4.) Will it show off DX11 effects on the PC?

My guess is NO to all your questions, except DX11 which would be a YES if you're OS is up-to-date.

More like if your GPU is up to date though... I think there are more people who are missing out because of an incompatible video card than there are people still using XP with a DX11-compatible card.

You'll never get an answer like that. Try again, this time in a polite manner.

So they wont release crucial information that a lot of people want because of one poster's rudness? Great logic there buddy.

You are not helping yourself, and it's not crucial information considering it's a "free" demo.

Yeah, to be honest if someone was asking me in such a rude fashion, I'd specifically not answer. Even if I was perfectly happy to do so beforehand.

Beside, it's not really a big deal if you can't do those things. The demo'll probably be short enough, so it won't be a bother to replay it in the full game, and I doubt your decisions in DA:O matter at all or atleast much in the demo

And yet you wonder why? Does this not prove my point?

I sit behind my keyboard ranting, however I do not let that get in the way of using the old gray matter and a little diplomacy, it's simple, the keyboard is not connected to your muscles or nervous system, you move your fingers away from the keyboard, think things through and then try again, trust me, I know frustration on forums, I was signed up to the Mafia II forum.

What information gets released and what doesn't isn't up to the people posting here. The ones who make those decisions are a differerent team, I believe. Anyway, it was stated just a couple of days ago around here that even just a comment on how they can't comment can be something they aren't allowed to do.

If something has been asked multiple times and you can be fairly sure a Bioware-y person has seen it, you should assume that it's just something they're not allowed to talk about. Nobody is withholding information from you out of malice, seriously.

Alright, I'm sorry for my attitude, Priestly, it was unprofessional, can you please answer my doubts?

Chris, could you elaborate please? Are you not ready to talk about it yet? Because people have asked politely before in various threads, including me.

Will be be able to take the "Hawke" we start in the demo into the full game or will we need to replay the opening when DA2 is released?

I'm giddy with excitement no matter what, just curious in general.

See, this is something many want to know. I mean for some checking out the gameplay may be cool, but others want to really start the experience of the game already. And it might be worth more to others to play if they can carry it on to the game itself.

A bonus would even be allowing you too import DAO.

Hey Uhhh, again, was just wondering if you could clarify some things please:

Will there be a character creator in the demo or will we have to play default Hawke? Also will we be able to play Fem Hawke as well? It is stated that you will be able to play all 3 classes. How about genders? Can you choose?

If we create a character in the demo we like can we transfer that character when the "real" game comes out?
