I think people have to realize that when a employee says anything on these forums that people immediately run with it as 100% full confirmation of something. If you are a long time follower of these forms you know that in the past that has caused from minor whining to full blown outrage when not everything ends up being 100% as described by the company representative.



Things change during development (yes even demos), not all facts are given to all employees, st times strict control is placed on employees as far as giving details. Often the employee is not answering not because they want to tick people off or mess with them but because they don't know for sure at this time, the question has not been finalized by the company at that time or word from up on high has stated that no details are to be given out just now.



Heaven knows we have had more than one example of a fan digging up a post from a developer from 6 months ago and blasting them for being a liar or dumb because their answer to a question did not 100% match how things turned out. The reason why people pressure BioWare for things like this as if they must have the info right now is that BioWare is much more accessible than most companies and actually post a fair bit.

I have a question if anyone knows. The advertisement on the demo page says Feb. 22, while the fineprint says Feb. 23. I'd really like to know which is the date, hoping for the former so I can spend my b-day killing pretty hurlocks...

So I see I preorder the game pay it off in full, and only get a sword and a shield. No early access to demo. Gamestop employee's who probably dont make enough to even buy the game get early access because they work for the company who doesn't even want to carry PC games. Hmmm strange.

It is a good day to be a Dragon Age fan indeed! I'm really excited for it, specially the fact that I can just camp on Xbox Live on the 22nd and PLAY!!!!!

I don't care if it's two weeks before release. Me. Play. and from the looks of it no character creator but I remember people wanting actual gameplay demo vs CC. Well whatever I'm happy!

Does this demo allow us to Import our Origin story? and does it give us a save to start up when the game itself comes out?

Or is it a standalone demo that we just play obsessively until the game itself comes out

I'm almost sure I won't download the demo if it's not included, and instead wait for the real deal. Suppose I'll check the forum on the 22 to find out. Just seems an odd thing to be tight lipped about, but I suppose they have their reasons.

If you mean the devs personally they can't say anything until its been approved from TPTB. If you mean EA as a whole well yes it seems stupid they didn't give the devs permission to at least shut down the speculation.
