I don't know if this has been asked in this thread already, but do we get to create our own character or do we simply play the default Hawke?

When we get the full game can we leave off from the end point of the demo or must we play through the prologue again?

Only about 10 times already. Would it really hurt that much to read the first three pages of the topic? Or even the previous page?

Answer is: We don't know.

They aren't answering. It looks like we will have to wait until gamestop employees leak the information.

Image IPBImage IPBYes, it would have been agonizingly painful, and I'm delicate.

It gives a mana boost.

Why would a warrior only weapon give you mana? And why would a mage only weapon give you stamina?

That's why I asked if it was usable by all classes.

I thought it was Killzone 3 fan and/or concept art when I first it. Great to see everyone is getting in the spirit.

I'm assuming its like DA:O. If you meet the stat requirements, you can use it. Nothing stopped mages from using 2handers in Origins. But unless they were Arcane Warriors it wasn't overly practical for them to do so.

Since it gives mana/stamina it seems to imply its not class restricted in any way.

Warriors can only equip sword & shield or 2-handed sword
Rogues can only equip bows/crossbows or dual wield daggers
Mages can only equip staffs
companions can only equip the type of weapon they come with.

so no, not just anyone can equip this by meeting the stats.

Yeah I asked the same question in another thread and my interpretation is exactly that. Hopefully that correct cause it will make a good weapon for my melee mage I plan to make.

Yabbut they could theoretically make a weapon that breaks those restrictions, after all armour won't have the same restrictions so long as you have the right amount of strength a mage or rogue can equip heavy armour.

Didn't mana translate in stamina for warriors and vice versa in DAO? I mention this because I heard it once but it never mattered enough for me to double check it. Sounds like a reasonable deduction but doesn't make it true.

It did but the relevant weapons (Chasind Great Maul and Nug Crusher) only ever stated that they increased stamina, mana wasn't mentioned.

Then what class are you saying this is made for?

Nope. I think you mean that willpower increases mana for mages and stamina for warriors and rogues.

Reference? I've seen nothing solid to indicate that's the case. Your list matches the skill trees I've seen, but in Origins you could equip gear outside your skill tree options. (i.e. rogues using 2handers)

Warrior, as apparently it's a two-hander.
I don't think that companion weapons thing is right, I think that was only for armor.

if they were going to make one weapon that breaks those restrictions, why would they have those restrictions at all? no offence meant to you, but that would be stupid. i'm betting that all items that give either stamina or mana are marked as "increases stamina/mana" since they're effectively the same thing. mages will not be able to equip this, nor will rogues.

I wonder if Mage Hawke can equip swords, but not Bethany, Merill or 'Anders'. Or maybe Fenris uses mana instead of stamina.
