Id wager that 95% of the people who say they wont play the demo, will break down and play it after they come on this board and read all the threads gushing about the awesomeness.

No character creator really cuts the awesome out of it... I'll grab it sure, but I won't be freaking out to get my hands on it. It's gameplay... I know I'm going to like it, so what's the point? :-D

I will be playing it multiple time to see how the game play and go through each class.

I'm just going to play the beginning of the demo so that I can accurately decide on a class.

I'll definitely play the demo. Honestly, I'm really on the fence about DA2, and I'll rely on how I feel about the demo to determine whether I pick it up or not. Now, most of the listed changes seem like they'll address the things I disliked about the first Dragon Age, but I'll have to try it for myself.

I don't see any reason to not play the demo, it's just a chance to get used to the controls and stuff. If some people want to be completely unfamiliar with the game when they get it be my guest.

I can't wait to get my hands on the demo. There's just too much I'd like to find out (Hawke's voices, Bethany, etc.) before I can finaly play the game.

I will play the demo too. To learn the new controls and to see a little bit of the game too. I often start a game twice just cause of this. And I will start new with customized Char after my game is here. But to learn something about the classes this is a good way too...
And the main reason: I am just curious like my cat :-))))))

I hope to be able to resist, I would preferto experience the things we do in the demo for the first tie in my "real" playthrough

I'm really looking forward to the demo =)
Since I pretty much always play a female char I'll try M!Hawke in the demo. Try out the different classes and see what I like fighting wise. Then when I finally get my pre-ordered game I'll get my F!Hawke going. Prefer to run one char through the game at the time, makes me remember how that person reasons and looks on the world. Hope that waiting with F!Hawke until I have the game will make it feel different and new when I get it.

I'll play the demo to see how the different types feel to play now and then I'll play six playthroughs (2 Warrior, 2 Mage & 2 Rogue as M/F Hawke alternatively) when I get my copy of DA2....then I'll probably remember the real world exists for a while.....at least until some DLC comes out.

You've already landed this fish when the game is released!! I dont need another hook to purchase the game but thankyou for the gesture anyhows.Chris Priestly wrote...
You can skip it if you wish, but you'll miss out on getting Hayden's Razor when DA 2 ships.
Umm original question. doubtful I have a full schedule on this month

Hmm... might just use the demo to try something new. I always always play good characters. My shepards are paragons and the wardens pretty much would march across the country to take a kitten out of a tree. Hmmm.... the demo might be the perfect place to start of a really bad Hawke. One who makes the dick-move at every possible moment. Just to see how it is =) this way I don't feel like I have to go through the entire game with the mean-Hawke. It will just be a try-out. When the game comes out I can safely go back to rescuing the kittens =)

it would have been cool if you could save your character's progress from the demo for when the actually game comes out.

Is Hayden's razor a 2-handed sword or a dagger? If it's just a dagger, i'll probably only play half the demo to get a feel for the combat. If it's a 2 hander, i may have to finish the spoilerific demo.

The demo will deterimine if I'll purchase the game or not.
It better knock me off my feet, because ATM, I'm rather dissapointed by most of the stuff I've seen/heard.
