I played the demo while i was logged in, but when I finished I wasnt logged in anymore. Kinda crappy. Oh well, just means ill have to play the demo again, not that thats a bad thing lol

Wait, do I have to play the demo on PS3 to get the PS3 version of the sword, or do I get it for all consoles no matter what? Because I downloaded the PC demo, but I plan to buy the game for PS3.

soooo... how do i get the sword? i've beaten the demo twice now and recieved no code or indication that the sword has been unlocked

@Andrarian: You DO realise that a couple of bonus unlockables are gained by playing the demo, right? I mean, if you haven't downloaded it by now, then no, don't download it, but people who did will have more stuff to play around with. Anyway, I played it, enjoyed it, and it isn't as if it ruined any of the game. I mean - from the adverts, we already knew most of what the demo gave us, so in that sense, it was a great demo.

@Eido: I have the signature edtion, so as it turns out the only one I seem to be missing is Hayder's Razor. It would have been nice to have the full set, but I'm not going to go out of my way to download and play the demo for a game that I'd already decided to buy the day it was announced.

I understand the marketing motivation for the demo-only bonus material thoroughly, and the desire to encourage pre-release buzz about the game. But my schedule's pretty busy and I have to plan and keep my gaming time focused. Perhaps ironically compared to some of the complaints I've seen on the BSN about bonus content and DLC, I'm much more comfortable spending extra money for it than I am extra time.

Any reason why?
