Also, I just realized I'd rather not find out what the spell/skill trees are until I'm actually able to use them. So yeah, no again.

(Now why was I so angry that a demo wasn't going to be released?..... .....Oh well...:innocent:)

I'll certainly play it, if the demo lets you continue with your save from where you left off on the demo. It won't be spoiling anything, it will just let me play a bit before release day.

Now if the saves don't transfer, and i have to install the game, and play the exact same things I just did 2 weeks previous, yeh, I may skip it until I have the whole game. I do dislike repeating hours of play too often. I'm already going to have to do that with a second play through.

Is there mention of the saves from the demo working just fine with the full game?

Anyways, not worried about ruining anything or spoilers, I"m going to play that content eventually, doesn't really matter to me whether is 1 hour on Feb 22, or part of a 12 hour gaming marathon in march. I'm gonna see it eventually:)

They way I look at it, is in DA 1, I had way too much info on all the companions and such. I kinda like this approach of giving you that info in a playable form, rather than trailers and info dumps.

I don't play betas of games I know I'm going to buy because they ruin things. Same thing with Demos. Demos are for when I don't know if I'm buying.

I'll be playing the demo. Once on the PC, and once on the 360.



Right now I have the Signature Edition for the PC, but I'm primarily a console user. I heard about the Signature edition on the 11th, and picked a version in haste to preorder. I'm a bit bummed out that they chose not to support a controller at all officially, and keep the new gameplay console only. I know I'm in the minority with that one.



Just going to see what I like best, and decide from there.

That's basically how I've been feeling. The temptation to play it is absolutely overwhelming, but I know I'll feel a little let-down once I get my hands on the actual game if I've played the demo beforehand.

But knowing it exists and not playing it is actually sort of funny, as I've spent the last year or so on these forums ravenously devouring every scrap of information I can find on Dragon Age II. I guess we'll see if my self-control holds.

I was delighted when I found out it would be the entire prologue up until you meet Isabella. For me, I don't consider seeing the prologue early a "spoiler" by any means. If I watch the first fifteen minutes of a movie, and don't get around to watching the rest, then two weeks later sit down and re-watch it the whole way through, I don't consider the movie spoiled, just stopped and then started. So for me, the more content in the demo the better! Now if we were playing from the middle of the game for a couple missions, that would be a different story.

I believe it does. At least I'm logging in to DA:O with this account.
