Issue #2 of Mass Effect Evolution goes on sale at fine retailers Tuesday Feb 16. Our friends at Dark Horse Comics has sent along the 2 cover images and first 6 pages of Issue #2 for you to see.

Not only does issue #2 have mroe of The Illusive Man, it freatures the return of an old Mass Effect friend, Saren!

My eyes popped out of my sockets when I saw Saren in one of the previews of issue #2!

I saw this on IGN a couple days ago. It's not bad, I just can't stand the expository dialogue. Other than that point it looks good and I can see the hints at where the story is headed, and I like it.

Looks awesome! I have to admit though, the first thing that popped into my mind was, "Are we going to see Admiral Hackett??!!!"

When I saw the cover I thought, "Oh no, don't tell me their making Saren look like he did in the game." Thankfully they at least realized he got those 'upgrades' after meeting Sovereign.

I hope not. I want the first time I see him to be in-game. Either in ME3 or in the next ME2 DLC.

But I like it. Adds some refference to the book - where Grayson is trying to fight with voices inside of his head... but this only makes TIM even a bigger monster if he knew even approximately what Grayson will go through.

Are they dreadnoughts? I thought the big green thing was Arcturus, even if the codex described it differently. I hope ME3 explores the different navies of each of the main races (like, what does their cruiser and dreadnoughts of each of the council races, including human, look like for sure). This was my biggest disappointment for Halo: Reach. The only human ship was the frigate, we never saw any cruisers, etc.

Everything else... well, Harbinger loves the sound of his voice, and the comic, up to now, seems to be shaping up rather well, I must admit I'm actually enjoying it, both the art and the script seem to have really improved quality-wise since the first comic series with Liara.

His eyes never changed in the first place.  Everyone just assumed they did based on a couple panels where he got zapped by the artifact, but all that was was electrical discharge.  Whatever it is that prompts him getting the implants hasn't happened yet in the comics.

Because:

a. It's an alternate cover, which are often even more loosely connected to the actual story than usual.
b. It's one of his iconic moments.

The first issue had an alt of TIM in his office, for much the same reason

I'm talking about the big green thing with two prongs. If it's Arcturus Station, that's fine I guess. It just looks goofy.
