Well that's good to know.

Some questions around here though.
Can we load our DA:O backgrounds to the demo ? Also can we load our demo character(s) to DA2 once we have the game ?

Edit : Oh someone was asking if a character creator was included to the demo on the french forums.

Why is this a good thing? Why would I want to play through that and then wait for two weeks? Kinda akin to playing through ME2's prologue, choosing an enhancement/specialization and stopping there. I would hate that.

All that drama and excitement of the prologue needs to be supplemented by the rest of the game, otherwise it's kinda wasted on you.

I wouldn't think of it  in that way.    Instead, think of it as a long, interactive trailer. 

You were going to wait those 2 weeks for the game anyway, might as well enjoy a really good teaser.

Thank you so much. I can't wait, this is going to be awesome. There's no question about whether or not I'll play through the entire demo and unlock the weapon. That'll be a goal for me, and I'll most likely keep playing until the day the game is released. XD

nahh man. It just wets your appetite. Bioware knows how to get people to play their games. If you played the Witch Hunt DLC then you know what im talking about. 

I got so pissed at the end that it left so many unanswered questions, but then i realized that it was the most perfect way to close out DAOA and segway into DA2

If you feel strongly about not wanting to spoil Da2 just dont play. After all the demo is optional, YOU have to download and play it.

Answering some of the frequently asked questions. I have added these to the OP as well.

1 - Can we import from Origins into this demo?
The demo does not have a character or save game import feature.

No. While you can modify your character in the main game, this is disabled in the demo
[/list]3 - Does the demo allow you to just start the full version of DA2 from where the demo leaves off?
No. The demo begins with the beginning of Dragon Age II and then shows you a glimpse of a mission that occurs later on in the game.
[/list]4 - Will it show off DX11 effects on the PC?
DX11 features will only be available on the PC purchase copy of Dragon Age 2.
[/list]5 - Can we play Male and Female Hawke?
Yes you can choose male or female Hawke.

The xbox 360 demo will be available through Live. The PS3 demo will be available through Playstation Network.[/list]

No customized character in the demo.  In the full game you will be able to customize your character.

That's how BioWare's advertising has worked since ME1.

I'm kinda surprised they're even letting us choose a female Hawke.
