I wonders how long the servers will actually be up on Feb 22nd. I fully expect Bioware to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances the download servers crashed. I really think they just need to release the download and then on Feb 22 email everybody, who registers with EA, an activation code. It's the most reasonable option.

1. Why are people talking about "codes" with the demo?
2. Is it really going to be gold only for Xbox 360 for the first week?
3. When will it be put up to be downloaded, for PC or for Xbox?
     3a. By when, I don't mean what day, but what time of day, e.g. midnight, 6 AM, 3 PM?

Gamestop employees get the demo for PC early,that is what the codes are for.But right now the site you go to enter the code is broken :/

Looks like they delayed the demo... tried to go to the demo page for gs employees and they took it down stating we all have to wait until the 22nd...lame.

Basically they canceled the gamestop release because they feared employees would leak it. So everyone gets it 22nd now regardless.

My manager was originally going to give me the demo, but he told me today that we weren't getting it because an employee(s) actually sold it to the press. Not sure if he has that right since I haven't heard that anywhere else, but it made me a very sad game advisor :<

..this exact line of thought was mentioned when the demo was announced. If that demo was released privately on the 11th, it would have been worldwide on the 11th.

It'll be on the XBLM at like 6am EST, but ps3 owners have to wait til the PS store updates which takes forever but i'm not sure about PC. on the 22nd.
