If the demo is that long (up to and including part of Kirkwall) then I think Bioware has been downplaying the length of the game. Good news all around, as far as I'm concerned.

In the demo, players will venture through the game's prologue, choosing from three different character classes.
Does it work in the same way as ME2 Demo where you can continue your adventures once you get the full game? :-)

This is the demo announcement. A press release. There wasn't one yesterday, that's why they said it wasn't confirmed yet. Fans were speculating on this.
