They could have easily made a mutual arrangement for the PC version to be released through MS. MS is just as much PC as it is Xbox. And I highly doubt MS is paying them very much for a few hour release difference of a simple Demo. DLC's sure. Demo's not so much.

I know, it was a joke. I've been mad at MS/Xboxes every since the Crysis 2 demo fiasco. The most likely cause is that Xbox live is just better maintained (more paying uses = excellent service).

Also, MS is totally interested in Xbox over PC. They paid a game (I can't remember which, but I read an article in PCgamer or something like that) to be Xbox exclusive.

Yeah, we need a source (as I said before). If I know for sure that it's coming out after I leave for 10 hours then I'll stop hovering on the internet and go do something productive. I really want to play it now though

I just read that the demo for Europe users will be Feb 23rd release. I damn well hope that is wrong !!!!!!!

Well, I gotta say, BioWare seem to have removed the vast majority of the problems with the console release of Origins in DA2. Still no tactical overview, but I don't really care - it plays better than many action RPGs even without the tactics menu and pause functions.



Very happy with it.

Pop a mod in DAO and play it. It's kind of like methodone for the DA crowd. Too bad DA2 doesn't get that option.

Thanks for that.  Though there are people on twitter claiming we won't see the PC demo at ALL Today. I'll trust the faq above them, though I want to sucker punch them in the teeth.  And I don't think having to wait is all that fair...

So, that will be about 11AM here.  I suppose I can wait. Barely.

well, like I posted:

What time will the demo be available?

So if you are waiting for the PC version, you get the demo access Feb 22nd 9am Pacific Standard Time + whatever your time zone is. So the PC seems the the same time worldwide.

The PS3 is the 23rd.
