No I live in Auckland but yeah it's absoloutley tragic, my heart def goes out to the people down in Christchurch. It was on the news all day and the place literally looks like a war zone.

For those of you complaining (with damn good reason) about XBox Live gold membership required to play the DA2 demo, well... it's like that for all new demos, not just DA2. XBox Live Silver must wait longer than gold. Yep, this is Microsoft.



I got frustrated many times because of that. Now I'm back to PC gaming, so it troubles me no more!

for those who are only silver XBL:

someone was suggesting making another account and then you would get a free 1 month trial of gold. BUT- that would also mean that whatever weapon/item is unlocked by the demo would not be on your gamertag.

not sure what else there is to do short of all of us calling MS and complaining.

It wouldn't be on the gamertag? I thought you could have multiple accounts linked to your Bioware?

just tried to get it by opening a new acount on XBL but i still not getting the free gold for one month in the netherlands 
guess i have to wait in agony for one more week then

I got a sister on that part of the island, but luckily she´s not that close to Christchurch. Lets just hope that the worst is over.

I posted the link a little while back with the Demo Q/A session... PC version won't be out until 9AM PST... Chris Priestly informed that about 4 days ago. I just fount it today... I'll go find the link and repost it for y'all

at least i can try it on my pc ( doubt it will run it very well but at least i can play it)

the more comments i read on the demo the more i want it 
and the happier i get that i pe-ordered it the first day
and all this after my initial dislike of all the changes they have made to it 
but from what all of you who played the demo  it apears to be a great game 
somehow i knew BW would not let me down 

only sux that MS screws every one who can not afford a Gold membership at this point
it's a friggin DEMO for peetsake:?
