Can anyone confirm that completing demo on one platform unlocks the item for all platforms? I'm getting the xbox 360 version but don't have gold so I was going to play it on my PS3 to unlock the item.

So I see everyone here had issues with gettin' on the DA2 Demo page to dl the demo...

Lucky me, I h4xx3d my way to the demo dl link when that page crashed. 

Still 1 hour to go. Has a rate of 100 ~ 1000 kb/s.

Yeah, this throttling of PC downloads to 60-100kbs is really not cool. Bioware can you pls up it a bit. I'm not saying give me 1megabyte a sec, perhaps 300kilibytes would be fine.

I am surprised the PC community will be the least informed about this due to download times. I agree with others the sped is far too slow to make it seem worth it compared to xbox owners. Hopefully they fix that, but this is needless to say, silly well onto real life things while I wait 10 hours...

Can't see the Mac version of the demo. Obviously there has to be one. I mean, who in their right mind would announce that a game was to be released on four platforms, then make a demo available to only three of them?

Just got through it. I won't give away any spoilers and whatnot, but it's an edited version of the real gameplay. You can't customize Hawke, or use the inventory. You skip around a lot in the story as well, missing cutscenes quite often.


But, yeah, other than that....
