As do I. when you fire up the Demo/game, you'll be presented with a prompt to log in to your EA account, and you just enter the same name/password as you would to log into these forums. any pre-order items that are linked to your account will then be available to download and use in your game/demo

Well, despite anything else this is good news IMO.  As I am probably going to cheapskate it and leave the "free super shipping" set for my Amazon shipment, this'll let me "play the game" as soon as everyone else.

The account your on right now is your EA account. When you get the demo you will use the same login for that as you do here. Easy as that!

My guess - and this is nothing more than idle speculation - is that the demo will be very similar to what you see from the show floor footage available over at Gametrailers.com (from November). You could pick a default Hawke (though mage was not available at that time, so only male/female Warrior and Rogue - demo will have all 3 classes), and then go through Lothering.

I will not be disappointed with this.

While not impossible I would think it's very unlikely that you get to import saves or pick up from where you left off when you buy the game. Somewhat less unlikely is that they include character customization. I would dearly love to see it, but am not expecting it.

Now, on-topic, the demo looks like it'll be good, hopefully. I just pray that there's character creator because Default Hawke on all three classes will not ultimately be mine. Don't see why they wouldn't have CC, though, but you never know.

Actually, if you look at the amazon page for the BSE, it says "NOTE: If you have already pre-ordered this game, you will still receive it on release day, 3/8/2011." So as long as you did like me and pre-ordered the SE, it looks like it doesn't matter what shipping you'll have chosen, we'll get it on day one. Anyway, on topic this is nice. Give us a little taste of DA2 shortly before we get the full game, and reward us with a dagger. Can't wait.

If your copy of DA:O is also on your Xbox, then you're likely already doing it.

The option is likely to be very similar to that.

Well some robes & staffs also said they increase stamina in Origins when they actually did both mana & stamina, or more prciecely either one depending on who used em.

The March dates are for the actual game. The site does state the 22nd for the actual demo.
