Miranda - Glad she got some armor. Her catsuit was awkward in combat.
Tali - I like it.

2.Grunt's is AWESOME. I am Krogan, hear me roar!
3.Tali... it doesn't look very different, other than inverted colors.

Really? Because, with the armor, I suddenly find her very, very attractive. As in suddenly, she's some sort of badass techno-goddess.NirvanaRain wrote...

Then again, I always preferred this over this, call me crazy.

Every combatant in Mass Effect has a kinetic shield, they don't need heavy plated armour, they are not soldiers.
It's not like they are in a warzone with tanks, artillery and aircraft bombardments.
All they need is a shield to deflect gunfire, if that shield goes they would be dead regardless of whether they are in armour or not.
Except that according to the lore they shouldn't do. Kinetic barriers are incorporated into the armour, you don't just have personal kinetic shields by existing in the Mass Effect universe. Same goes for the automatic medi-gel dispensers introduced in ME2. Half the ME2 squad shouldn't have either given what they're wearing.

Everyone that uses shields/armor have hardsuits with the exception of Kasumi whose outfit I think is reasonable given her profession.
As for this pack
Tali>Grunt>Miranda
her outfit doesn't look as good as I hoped, that and I hate those visor things they keep strapping on.
Edit:
Looking at it again I'd be interested in seeing a reskin with the white/black colors. I've never liked the black/orange color scheme which may be my issue with this one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was pretty sure biotic barriers like that couldn't be constantly maintained indefinitely like that and only came into play as a temporary attitional boost in addition to kinetic shields. I could be wrong, but that's how it always seemed to me given what I've seen and read.

Biotic Barrier, the ability, is simply a much stronger variant of the passive Biotic Barriers that we see Vanguard Shep and Jacob use even though their defense type is already biotic in nature, adding a new layer of protection that simply can't be maintained forever much like how the Geth shield boost is just a stronger version of an already existing shield system.

Now if only Jack's visor was holographic like Miranda's, then I'd definitely have equipped it.

I can't remember anything in the books about it but in ME2 all biotics use barriers instead of shields. You can see it in the character screen.Terror_K wrote...

She always standed on her toes in the Squad Selection screen since the first one. Tali is, by lore, supposed to be short because she's a quarian.Slidell505 wrote...

Miranda's looks awesome, and definitely the best of the three. She actually looks like someone who won't die immediately if exposed to combat or the elements. I bet she still uses a breathe mask on away missions though. 9/10.
Grunt's looks pretty good. I like the colors, but I find dual visors to be a bit silly, especially since he doesn't use sniper rifles. On the whole, I find it to be an improvement though, or at least as good as what's already there.
If they make more appearance packs, we still have Jacob, Mordin, Samara, Legion, Zaeed, and Kasumi. Since Zaeed and Kasumi are DLC, they may not make alternate appearances for them. But I'd love to see some cool looks for the first four, especially Samara and Legion.

Okay, I can accept that. Seems logical enough.
That's one issue I have with "no proper armour" down, and another half a dozen to go

I think the main reason a lot of people think Miranda looks like a man now is because now that her ****** and ass are covered up, people start to notice her face.
A logical hypothesis. Hopefully her face will look more like Yvonne's and animate better in ME3.

Tali looks good. I would love to see her is something that is more of a departure from what we're used to seeing her in, but she still looks good.
Grunt still looks as formidable as ever, and that is a good thing.
I will purchase.
